MECCA, Saudi Arabia -- Draped in white robes to symbolize purity and the equality of mankind under God, nearly 3 million Muslims from all over the world gathered Friday in Mecca, on the eve of the start of the annual hajj pilgrimage.
Male pilgrims, wearing two-piece seamless white robes, and women, covered head to foot except for their hands and faces, circled the sacred Kaaba stone structure seven times inside the Grand Mosque, which Muslims face during their five daily prayers.
A pillar of the Muslim faith, the hajj is packed with symbolism and ritual aimed at cleansing the soul of sin. Every able-bodied Muslim who can financially afford to must perform it at least once in his or her lifetime.
For Turkish pilgrim Omar Danis, the journey to Mecca was a dream come true.

Only 3 million? There’s supposed to be more than that at Obama’s coronation.
Haven’t you seen the numbers of them trampled nearly every time this occurs? It is worse than Black Friday at the wrong Walmart. Same mentality, however.

Is there a WalMart in Mecca?
“Saudi authorities have said they have no indication of any threats this year.” Like I said: it’s got to be about the safest place in the world from the Murderists.
If we played the game like they do, Mecca would be a glass parking lot as soon as it was full of the enemy.
How comforting it must be for them to know we are a moral people, who would never do as they do.
We all know if Christians went by the millions to one place like that, we would be dead ducks. They would not hesitate to nuke us all.
They slaughter innocents, and we keep playing by rules that only we follow.
That is not how a battle is won.
I prefer a 20 or so megaton nuke detonated about 1500 feet above the tomb.
I wonder what would happen is someone with a bullhorn shouted out: "The Jews have arrived"!!!! "The Jews have arrived"!!!!!
Quick, send a nuke before they leave!

Screw this “celebration” of “diversity”. Saudi Arabia and muslims on pilgrimage are an intolerant lot. There can be no cultural exchange when there is only one channel of communication (they've only come to establish missions in the West). There can be no separation of “Church and State” when the Saudi State is funding the construction of mosques in the West. They should not be granted a tax free status as they are beholden to the Islamic empire. Something the Saudis had to do to appease the Wahhabis when the captured Mecca decades ago.
We couldn’t do anything like this, it would make the Moslems angry and they might retaliate by flying airplanes into tall buildings.
Real nice way of saying what I’m thinking.
But first, to get them all worked up—thousands of McRiblet sandwiches, the little styrofoam boxes slowly parachuting down on their pointed heads.
