Because of work related issues, I am totally out of the loop at this time. I have limited time, and can't review the entire thread. Can someone tell me the status of the situation vis a vis the SCOTUS?

The court announced a couple of cases that they granted cert to. Donofrio’s wasn’t one of them. There’s a slim chance that they still might, but it’s pretty unlikely.

You know, we need to churn out a generation of conservative lawyers, teachers and journalists. That’s probably the ONLY way we have a chance at keeping conservatism alive.

That would certainly work, but I don't give it even a 1% chance. Our education system is so incredibly taken over by liberals that kids are indoctrinated even before the 2nd grade. Each generation is now dumber than the previous with no motivation to work at anything (as a whole). Unless we can get about 25% of the population to homeschool, we'll need another plan. ;(

Ladies and gentlemen, this loser has been chomping at the bit tonight that the Socialist Marxist Obama gets his way. That’s what I found tonight while searching for some news. A so-called conservative board with a player on it who is actually laughing that a usurper will be taking office and breaking the Constitution.

All I can recommend is that Freepers know that’s what Sean Hannity is now allowing on his boards and I don’t endorse him any longer on account of losers like “WHO” and their entire moderation staff I’ve just witnessed goes on there.

Am I correct in reading, the issue was never fully resolved?
***I don’t know. He certainly was president. But I don’t know if his qualifications were ever called into question formally in a court of law. That would be the precedent.
