WHO CARES? It was their money.

I see no problems with the GOP spending money on Palin or Obama spending his own money on a ring for his wife.
Non stories to me.

Assumes facts not in evidence :) Was it Barry's own money? If so, did he get a deal that would violate the Senate's (snort) ethics rules? Have you even known a pol to pay retail for anything?

I would say the leaking and world wide media streaming where he got the ring.
The type of ring, the costs, and the design is a good deal for the store.
I’m sure he got a deal.

Sarah should give some of her clothes to Michelle. And show her how to walk and TALK like a fair lady.

WHO CARES??????????
The Black widow’s horrible dress on election night was a one of a kind (thank goodness) and cost $10,000.
Dig into the Dems cost, and once again , how much money was raised by the Obama campaign during a SO-CALLED RECESSION???
Don’t get me started!

They are no longer Dems or Liberals. Just like the swarmong grasshopers of Egypt reach critical mass, morph their bodies from green to stripped ravengers of the landscape, so these lefties full of hatred have become facsists. Jonah Goldberg describes it well in his book: Liberal Fascism.
They have hated and been against everything for so long, they cannot be "for" anything. And they are dangerous. When Obama points his wand , they will do his ugly, violent bidding. Few in America realize this as we do today.

I wear worse clothes than that ALL the time (even to work, if nobody's going to be there but me).
BUT I almost always have a cheerful expression on my somewhat homely face and a big smile for my friends.
A good part of the time, Mrs. Obama is glowering or glaring. And her eyes don't smile, ever, even when her lips are trying to.

Yeah! We have heard a lot of pins dropping lately. The silence is creepy.
What kind of hold does he have on them?

More bs. We have no idea what these "accessories" were. For all we know this was for the stylist they hired for her. Yes, stylist. It was clear to me (working in Hollywood) that she had a stylist because her hair and make up went from being low grade when she was introduced in Dayton, OH to high grade when she gave her speech at the RNC convention. In fact, I remember wondering how she could afford some of the outfits she had on with her income. The NYTimes had printed her tax returns and financial disclosure, and from that it was apparent that the Palins are solidly middle class folks. So, before the clothing story broke, I figured that she just must have splurged on that $2000 Valentino jacket she wore for her RNC speech.
Most of the clothes they purchased were returned after the fitting. It's the sort of thing that every costume designer and stylist does -- buy everything in multiple sizes, then have a fitting, and assemble the wardrobe. All the sizes that didn't fit and the outfits that were rejected were no doubt returned. There's no way she spent $150K on the outfits she wore. The NYTimes or maybe it was the LATimes did a piece where they asked a group of stylists to appraise her wardrobe on the trail and they could not come up with $150K worth, and many of the outfits she wore in the last weeks were clearly her own.
This whole thing is just shameful nonsense.

Well Sarah did just disclose (after the election) the two trips she had paid for her up in Alaska. Something tells me Sarah has a convenience factor to forget about some things. She’s a politician - pure and simple, a politician. Let’s let her do her job in Alaska and earn her stripes before we anoint her our next party candidate. I think Pawlenty is a much more viable candidate

Why is this even a story? We spent most of the day keeping up with the newest reality show, “Begging for Billions” and someone should care about someone’s clothes?

So what? Can't campaign funds be use to make a candidate look good?
Last I knew, campaign funds can be used for anything the campaign feels is necesesary.
Does anyeon really believe that the kazillion dollars the "president-elect-but-not-quite-yet" raised did not go toward his wardrobe? He paid for his clothes out of his own pocket?
