Loads of Republicans are salivating over Jeb Bushs consideration of running to replace U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez in two years.
But Gov. Charlie Crist gave a decidedly cool response earlier today when asked about the possibility of his predecessor entering what is expected to be a crowded field.
Well see what develops. I imagine a lot of people will have interest. Time will tell. These things usually take a little while to sort of sort out. Hes a great Floridian, Crist told reporters.
Martinez announced yesterday he would not seek reelection and Bush is thought by some to be at the top of what could be a very large heap of potential candidates.
When asked if hed like to see Bush run, Crist gave an even more tepid response. I would like to see him do what he wants to do, he said.

At this point, I think I'm for the GOP candidate who is most likely to win. RAT chances to get a filibuster proof majority in 2010 look excellent, so any GOP win beats a RAT win.

No way.
Jeb is way, way better than Crist.

If Crist is aganist it, I’m for it. Remember, Crist is the one who gave us McCain to ensure an Oba Mao win.

Jeb certainly is a “Republican”.
The “lesser” of two evils wins again.

Crist is also one who wants to consider slavery reparations. Dem or GOP, he would never get my vote.

At this point, I think I'm for the GOP candidate who is most likely to win. That's how we got into this mess to begin with......RINOS elected instead of real GOP Conservatives will only give us what we've gotten. Remember, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.................

At this point, I think I'm for the GOP candidate who is most likely to win. Uhhh,..we just tried that.
It doesn't work.
We need to find a candidate that believes in conservatism, and knows how to communicate it.

RAT chances to get a filibuster proof majority in 2010 look excellentWe'll see. I think Obama and the Dem controlled Congress are going to screw things up and lose seats in 2010.

He’s not the only one.
Jeb needs to stay out of politics until he can find his moral compass and his common sense and quit being a Pro-Amnesty RINO!
