An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.

Robert L. Schulz, 69, chairman of We The People Foundation, took out ads Monday and Wednesday to raise questions about whether Obama's Hawaii certificate of live birth is authentic.

The ads echo accusations circulated online by some Obama opponents before the election. Cases challenging Obama's citizenship have been tossed out of local courts in several states, and Hawaiian officials have vouched for the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate, which is locked in a state vault. The Obama campaign likewise has always dismissed the accusations.

Nevertheless, some critics remain dubious.

Every computer has the built in screen cap feature. Center what you want and press the “Print Screen” button. It puts it on your clipboard.

Then go to your Microsoft Paint program and select “edit” and ‘paste’. There it is!

Go to ‘save as’, select a name and be sure to change the selection to ‘jpg’ and you have it saved. I crop in another program.

The whole issue of why he had that COLB put out last year in the first place instead of a photocopy of the ORIGINAL LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE is the most intriguing part of this story. Why a COLB from 2007? Just show us the original birth certificate from 1961 saying Birth Place: Hawaii, Hospital: Whatever Medical Center and Attending Physician or Midwife: So and So. Stamped, dated, signed.

Why not just show the original? What is he hiding?

Here is what I have as an initial draft, about 8 hours tardy. I will be going back to work on it in an hour or two. I will be linking to historically documented commentary and precedent. I also want to briefly spell out how obstacles have been put in Donofrio's way to the point of obstruction. After that, I intend to "publish" it to other sites.
