Pakistan, for all practical purposes HAS Sharia law. This was also installed in Baluchistan and the NWFP. Punjab and Sindh are less believing, but they would follow. In Pakistan, you have a blasphemy law that has been used to kill Christians under false pretexts (since also, the word of a Christian is not worth the same as that of a M in Pakistan).

Would you appreciate it if the same happened to you in the US, in reverse? Where tomorrow when you say "Christ!" you be accused of blasphemy and have your hand chopped off or be beheaded?

You're wrong. The right sentence is "Islam is totally incompatible with ~~Western~~ civilization".

Name ONE civilisation where Iz and Moos live peacefully? with the Hindus in India and Pakistan? No (the Paki Hindus are slowly being exterminated, just two years ago 2 temples were bulldozed in Lahore and no one said a word). With the Buddhists in Thailand or Afghanistan or Central Asia? No (The Buddhists in Central Asia were exterminated nearly a century or more ago). With non-Western Christians in the Phillipines or the Moluccas in Indonesia or in Nigeria or in Ethiopia or in the Sudan? No. With Parsis in Iran? Nope, all exterminated.

In addition the idea that poverty has anything to do with terrorism is a flat out lie. Africa is one of the poorest regions of the world, and yet we see little international terrorism from them. The far more wealthy middle east is the epicentre of terror. The terrorists themselves are usually middle class or very wealthy. Osama Bin Ladin was a millionaire not a poor Afghan goat herder.

The UAE was the center of the financing of the 911 attack, and Saudi Arabia, NOT Banglasdesh, was the recruiting ground for most of the attackers. Consistently the terrorists come the well-to-do, not the poor and downtrodden.

Your second point is correct though. Terrorists do exist in all classes in the middle east, from the ignorant poor who can be talked into suicide bombings, to some rich fool who feels that if he commits “martydom” he will wipe away the sins of drinking alcohol and having pre marital sex with blonde women while studying in Europe
