Amazing how Chambliss ran away with this race when there was no “early voting” or phony absentee ballots.

Many people willing to turn out for Obama were unwilling to turn out for some old white dude.

Thank you Sarah Palin! See what good she can do when not linked to a RINO.

Hmm...why couldn’t he get 60% last month? Was it the guy at the top of the ticket?
To: HDCochran
Were they gagging when they reported the victory?

If we can even make a dent of 15% to 20% in African Americans, democrats will not a win a single election. This runoff is a classic example of what happens, when African Americans don’t turn up to vote

If only he had not had Sarah campaign for him, he could have got 75% of the vote. Turrible, jest turrible.

There was early voting in the runoff, and absentee ballots too.
I and my two children voted early, my husband voted on election day.
The difference is more likely attributable to the fickle "American Idol" voters who turned out for Obama but had no interest in turning out for Martin (who isn't exactly charismatic).
