CNN Projects Chambliss Wins GA Senate Race

With 62% of precincts reporting at 9:00 PM EST, Chambliss has 60% of the vote. CNN projects him to be the winner.

Amazing how Chambliss ran away with this race when there was no “early voting” or phony absentee ballots.

Many people willing to turn out for Obama were unwilling to turn out for some old white dude.

If we can even make a dent of 15% to 20% in African Americans, democrats will not a win a single election. This runoff is a classic example of what happens, when African Americans don’t turn up to vote

If only he had not had Sarah campaign for him, he could have got 75% of the vote. Turrible, jest turrible.

There was early voting in the runoff, and absentee ballots too.

I and my two children voted early, my husband voted on election day.

The difference is more likely attributable to the fickle "American Idol" voters who turned out for Obama but had no interest in turning out for Martin (who isn't exactly charismatic).
