On the Republican side, there may well be a push to recruit former Gov. Jeb Bush into the contest although that seems like a long shot. State Attorney General Bill McCollum will almost certainly be mentioned as will state Senate President Jeff Atwater and former state House speaker Marco Rubio. Reps. Vern Buchanan and Connie Mack also may consider a run.

Yes there is a God. I loathe Martinez. The only thing worse is that goofy hayseed Lib Dem Bill Nelson.

Jeb, McCollum, Mack or Buchannan might be good. Rubio is a smart young guy too. Is he open borders like that piece of crap and pro-illegal alien POTUS Mel?

The RNC RINO’s screwed McCollum over to give the shot to Mel.

Adam Putnam or Kathy Harris (who I was campaigning for in the Primaries!!) would be good, too.

I voted for McCollum in the 2004 primaries and would be happy to do so again in a general election.

Names to consider: Jeb, Katherine Harris, McCollum, Rubio, and maybe even Crist.

Jeb won't run. No way. Why go from an executive position of authority to one of a hundred? I doubt he has Presidential aspirations anyway, even though he is probably the single most conservative of all of his family. But I'll bet the Bush dynasty is gone from politics. Which all in all is good news since Jeb's son George is an anti-American globalist that decried his country's immigration policies while he stood in the capital of Mexico. Barf alert.

Bill McCollum is as wishy washy as it gets. Sometimes he's a robust conservative but he'll wilt and fall with the first strong wind that comes along. I worked on McCollum's campaign when he ran last time, so I got to observe some of this stuff. I have known Jeb personally from long before he was governor. We're on a first name basis. He's a really good guy. But I think he let GW and company become too much of an influence on his son, George.

Wow, Jeb Bush reprising as Florida governor! Isn’t he the same guy who never got a handle on DYFS and child abuse. And isn’t he the same guy who presided over a a broken Florida education system? And, isn’t he the same guy who almost cost “W” his first term because he did not see the demrat voter fraud machine coming? Yes siree, Ol’ Jeb really makes my heart go pitter patter.

Jeb Bush is a RINO—just like “W” turned out to be. Reelecting him Florida governor does not advance conservatim.

Marco Rubio is perfect. He is a real conservative and well respective. He’s a young family man and a good man. Also smart as a whip.
