GMA Celebrates Britney's Crotch-Kicking Return

If Britney Spears wants to launch her grand return with a trite and tacky rough-sex pantomine, I suppose that's her business. She's not known as a pop tart for nothing. What I do find noteworthy is the way GMA celebrated that bit of rough stuff, featuring it in its opening minutes. Even there, it's not ABC's descent into schlock that jumps out so much as the double standard. Can you imagine the dutifully feminist ABC applauding such junk if the gender tables had been turned? Me neither.
Diane Sawyer, uh, teased things during the show opening.

Glad she’s doing her thing again. I’m not a huge fan of her music, but she seems a lot happier and healthier when she’s working.

Christina Aguilera has more talent and much less personal turmoil. You don’t see her putting out cigarettes on her baby’s head or being photographed without underwear.

Yeah, CA's got a really good voice.
I'd rather see Britney doing her thing than staying at home and going nuts, though.

Her music...if that's what you want to call it, is trash.
Yeah, she's pretty and got a great body. But there isn't an ounce of brains in that skull.
But my life has been much happier and healthier without her working.

And she married a decent guy too.
My daughters this morning were commenting on how much prettier she was than Britney and also a WAY better singer.

Given some of the stuff Aguilera has worn, I wouldn’t be so smug. Furthermore, Aguilera’s constant declarations of being in charge of her sexuality have gone beyond annoying.
She has talent but I am sick of her “Queen of the Nile” attitude.

Ya know—if nobody watched these crappy programs, there wouldn’t be a market for them, and they would go away.

Diane Sawyer - got dignity?
Didn’t think so.

In the video clip from GMA, she’s wearing black control-top granny panties that go up to her ribcage, so it’s kind of hard to tell if she’s got a sagging gut or not.

Christina Aguilera used to wear assless chaps and was constantly in the gossip columns for making out with girls in skeezy dive bars.
I wonder if the main (only?) reason she married this guy is because of his supposedly, um, huge endowment -- something she's bragged about repeatedly.
