Reminder - GEORGIA Senate Runoff Election Today (vanity)
12/02/2008 | N/A

The polls are open. Let's do it! Don't let Democrats reach critical mass! Please make time before or after work. Turnout is the key. Elections are the times when our activism can really get things done...or not.

I haven’t read anything about poll numbers. That indicates that Chambliss’ poll numbers are strong. Otherwise, the headlines and stories on the election would all start: “Chambliss, who is behind in the polls...”

The Urinal Constipation has it Chambliss +4. My suspicion is that Chambliss kills him. Went and voted at 8:30 this morning in my reliably deep red district.

Very quiet — like five people voting — no wait. Typical runoff.

None of the malcontents that were on line voting for the Chosen 0ne were anywhere to be found.

I am sure that the Rat Fulton County base is not in any way bribed or energized to come out for a toolstick like Martin.

Without 0’s folks at the polls, Martin should get a nice-sized butt whipping today.

Let the resistance begin.

I just voted and there was no line but steady traffic going in and out of the polling place. Mostly older white men.

do it for your country....if you guys elect Martin, than Reid and Dodd and Barney and zero get closer to carte blanche'...

I don't know what this country is coming too either.....I have a feeling we will never have perfect candidates ....we never have...okay...maybe Teddy R.

The polls close in one hour.
Local media is very quiet, that’s probably a “good” sign.
Everything I have heard is that turnout has been light.

I voted around 11:30 and the line was longer today than when I voted in the general election. The Republicans came out today; Dems not so much.

I guess even having rappers TI, Young Jeezy and Ludacris promoting Martin wasn't enough to motivate Dems to the polls.
