Los Angeles, CA (LifeNews.com) -- A Susan G. Komen Foundation affiliate in California is the latest to send hundreds of thousands of dollars to the nation's largest abortion business. The money is going to Planned Parenthood even though research confirms abortion increases a woman's risk of contracting breast cancer.

Which is why I don’t support their run for breast cancer.
I thought I heard that abortion increases the chance that a woman will get BC.
Same here. I don’t buy anything that has a Susan G. Komen pink label, either.
IIRC, I don’t think this is the first time they’ve given money to Planned Parenthood.
The world doesn’t make sense anymore - everything is illogical.
I don’t support the pink ribbon bunch either. Wasn’t that started by the Komen foundation? I read that they give money to planned parenthood a few years ago.
ping
Yea but I like the “Save the TaTa’s” bumper stickers.
So those little pink ribbons are really just support for abortion ‘rights’?
I NEVER trusted this outfit. Something about making breast cancer so highly political didn’t set well with me. Now I know why.
That is why it is tragically ironic that SGK supports Planned Parenthood, an organization that helps to ensure that breast cancer rates will continue to increase. There are scientific studies proving the abortion-breast cancer link, but they are of course ignored by those who profit from abortion.
ditto!
Yes,I distinctly recall having read before that this outfit funds abortion mills.I guess they haven't figured out that if they,a supposedly non-profit organization, gives part of the donations received to an entity that has *nothing* to do with their work that they're morally...and very likely,legally...obliged to shout it from the mountaintops so potential donors can make an informed decision.
..so be warned.
Exactly. There's no way I'd ever donate to breast...ovarian....cervical...uterine...prostate or testicular cancer.I donate to cancer in general with the expectation that my $$ would be used for *all* types.

Think about it. Without breast cancer, SGK would not need to exist. Its like Jesse Jackson needs racism to live on so that he can line his pockets with cash.
Its absolutely disgusting because its true.
I found it very eye-opening to find out that Susan G. Komen was the sister of Nancy Brinker who founded the Komen fund. Nancy Brinker also was on an advisory board for Planned Parenthood.

Once I found out Susan G. Komen’s group gave money to Planned Parenthood and this relation between Nancy and Susan, my donations to them stopped. However, I was pretty pink-ribboned out by then as it was.
No surprise...Wikipedia doesn’t mention her role in Planned Parenthood.
On June 18, 2007, President George W. Bush nominated Brinker to be Chief of Protocol of the United States and to have the rank of ambassador and assistant under secretary of state. Brinker was sworn in to the post on September 14, 2007.

I give for cancer research. Not Komen directly. I hope none of it goes to people like this.
This is one of my biggest frustrations. So many of the large charitable organizations are in some way supporting PP.
I try to keep a list as I find them, but it’s a struggle.
Anyone know of an online source that tracks this?
