Anyone know if Gen. Jones is a good guy?

Heard too that he has not chosen anyone at CIA and might leave Hadley in place.

So far it seems this is a motley crew with a most motley leader.

“His vanity is breathtaking”.

I agree..he’s haughty and arrogant.

I actually turned it off during the Florida recount. I had the feeling that if I kept watching that fiasco, I'd drop dead of a heart attack that night.

From that, I learned how good life can be without tv. Now I find that I read a lot more and enjoy life ever so much beter. Just think of all the commercials I've missed--LOL!

I’m worried about 2016 guys really, 8 yrs as first lady, 8 years as senator and if she manages 8 good yrs as SOS, 2016 is going to make her hard to beat. She may have lost this time narrowly but she’s not finished, she’ll only be 68 in 2016.

I changed the fall wreath on the front door to the Christmas wreath and cleaned the storm door.

Have to keep busy so I don’t remember the world of hurt this country is going to be in with this numb skull in charge.

Yeah, that’s cause the idiot doesn’t know what to do in a real emergency.

Hell, he can't handle the teleprompter blipping.

I heard him say the word, “performancing.” He will be performancing something.

This Jim Jones is nothing like the other one. Are you familiar with the man? He and Gates are the good news of the day.

Ditto .. I think those two fell on their swords for us BIG time in agreeing in taking these positions. God bless them for agreeing to be the grownups in this group to be voices for reason.

Amazing isn’t it, now that 0 is getting daily intel briefings and gets to know what Pres. Bush has lived with and carried 24/7 for these last years, that his strident anti-military tone and plans have moderated. My skin, my guts are crawling.

I pray for the Supreme Court cases and salvation from this.

Wrotnowski appeals to SCOTUS, denied by Ginsburg, and now resubmitted to Scalia

http://americamustknow.com/default.aspx

1/30/08 - After another battle with Mr. Bickell, the clerk that has a bad habit of obstructing justice, Cort Wrotnowski, with the help of Leo Donofrio (attorney handling the New Jersey Case), appealed his case from Connecticut to the United States Supreme Court.

His case was docketed at 12:38 PM on 11/25/08 and Honorable Associate Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg denied his application on 11/26/08. Cort has resubmitted the application to Justice Scalia and they should recieve this on Monday 12/1/08

Seems to me that arrogance is born of impotence.

He has to prop himself up with all this folderol to make himself seem important.

We all know people like that.

"Heard too that he has not chosen anyone at CIA and might leave Hadley in place."

?? Hadley is the current National Security Advisor, so he is being replaced by James Jones per today's announcement.

You're thinking of Michael Hayden, current CIA Director. Names are similar......

Jones never was, and is not “one of ours”.

That much is obvious.

You forgot one thing. People don’t like Hillary. Very high negatives. That’s why Barry was able to take her down with his Zero resume. He did it with his good looks and charming personality (I’m not kidding).

Hillary will never be president, unless she is appointed to it (i.e. Biden resigns and Barry makes her VP).

Her makeup was especially, particularly, old-lady-like today

Almost Pelosi-ish, if you will.

This Could Be Interesting [Jonah Goldberg]

From the IHT:

“Yet all three of his choices - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton as the rival turned secretary of state, General James Jones, the former NATO commander as national security adviser and Robert Gates, the current and future defense secretary - were selected in large part because they have embraced a sweeping shift of resources in the national security arena.
The shift, which would come partly out of the military’s huge budget, would create a greatly expanded corps of diplomats and aid workers that, in the vision of the incoming Obama administration, would be engaged in projects around the world aimed at preventing conflicts and rebuilding failed states.

Me: Well, that civilian national security force has to start somewhere.

I won’t watch or listen to him doing anything on tv or radio or look at magazines/newspapers which have his face or name. I am living in an Obama free zone.
