FOX News sister network Sky News has obtained exclusive footage of the moment security services captured the man said to be the only surviving terrorist behind the Mumbai attacks. The footage, which was captured on a mobile phone, shows a furious crowd beating the alleged terrorist, Ajmal Qasab, before he is taken away. It allegedly shows him with other gunmen on Marine Drive, a few streets away from the train station where the group had just carried out a killing spree. Fleeing the scene of the carnage, the gunmen were forced to stop because the tyres of their getaway car had blown out. Within seconds, they were surrounded by unarmed police.

WTF?
What about the two terrorists who got away? Anybody know?
Is this why the police at the train station didn’t fire?? They were unarmed??!!
I read that they were armed, but ran. They were not experienced in using firearms.
One way ticket to Getmo sounds good to me!
On my recent vacation I noticed...
Cops on Jamaica - Some armed, some not. Armed cops had more or less normal “cop” armament.
Cops on Grand Camen - Unarmed.
Cops on Cozumel - HEAVILY armed. Most had .38/.357 Mag revolvers and some form of short, very old looking, fully automatic weapon that vaguely resembled an Uzi but clearly was not. The Army troops (of which there were quite a few) appeared to be armed more or less the same as U.S. Army’s troops.
'Alleged' yea, right.
Barney Fife's Bullet - Because the town sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) wouldn't trust Barney with a loaded gun, for fear of accidentally shooting himself or an innocent bystander, Barney never carried a loaded gun, but rather kept one bullet in his left shirt breast pocket. The only time he used his gun was to start the potato sack races for the annual Mason's picnic. Barney was jokingly called Barney the Beast, Barney the Fierce, Crazy Gun Barney and Fearless Fife by his fellow townsfolk's. On episode No. 9 "Andy, the Matchmaker" someone in town wrote the following limerick on the side of the Mayberry bank: "There once was a deputy called Fife, Who carried a gun and a knife. The gun was all dusty, And his knife was all rusty, Because he never caught a crook in his life." See also - "The Sheriff Without A Gun"
B.S. Sidhu, head of the Railway Protection Force for the Mumbai region, says that while some officers tried to fight back, there was little his force could do. Most police officers at the station — as they are throughout India — were unarmed or carried only bamboo sticks known as lathis.

B.S.?
What, exactly, are you referring too?
That’s the one!
Thanks.
That is a microcosm of what is going to need to take place to confront terrorism — a massive uprising of the populace against it.
And if/when self-serving politicians and officials get in the way, they need to be slapped back in to their roles of servants of the people.
Othewise, things will continue as is, status quo, quid pro quo, give and take.
A: A good start.
There is no reason for guns on Grand Cayman.
They have virtually no crime. It is one of the safest places in the world.
The only crime is petty theft and occasional domestic violence.
