Can someone please put all the problems of obama's birth certificate into one paragraph, so that I can actually use it? I do not want a catchy phrase, but instead a reasoned arguement. Thank you.

No one know if there are any problems, because no one has seen it.
Other than that, it would be a very lengthy paragraph.

I can put it in one sentence:

Forget about Obama’s birth certificate and do something productive.

apparently, the birth certificate would show whether or not Obama was born in Kenya, to a Kenyan father, which would make him ineligible for the White House.

The question now is who has legal standing to bring a lawsuit to show the birth certificate. According to a district court in the 2000 Jones v Bush only presidential candidates would have standing. Although I believe an elector would have standing too.

There must be a good reason no one has brought it up. Now that CBS and MSNBC have done a hit piece, maybe talk show radio will raise the issue.

You say that, but what did George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, etc say. It was too hard? I think not.

Hawaiian law expressly provides for verification in lieu of certified copy of a birth certificate under HRS 338-14.3.

Even the Hawaii Department of Home Lands does not accept a certified copy of a birth certificate as conclusive evidence for its homestead program. From its web site:

"In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL."

American Thinker has a more detailed explanation that's very lucid.

The Certificate of Live Birth that was given to Daily Kos has been Dan Rathered. There has been no birth certificate verified that shows that Obama was indeed born in the United States. Dr. Jerome Corsi has provided school records showing that when Obama lived in Indonesia, his citizenship was listed as “Indonesian”. If that is the case, when he moved back to the US, he should have relinquished his Indonesian citizenship to accept US citizenship, assuming that he was even born in the US to begin with. His half-sister claims he was born in one Hawaii hospital, while his “autobiography” claims he was born in another which was not even built at the time of his birth. If he was born in the US, he may not automatically have been a US citizen since his father was Kenyan-born and his mother had not lived in the US five years as an adult (she was 18 when he born).

He was born in Kenya and attended US Universities as a foreign exchange student under a different name.

After these replies I still see the same problem: Give me a cogent and short retort that is unassailable. A fortress of truth if you will.

His speech in Germany with his references to ‘citizens of the world’ seems to have significant meaning in Barack Obama’s case.

1. As his website acknowledges - at birth he was a British citizen as his father was Kenyan and since their law says that the father confers citizenship.

2. When Kenya became independent, he automatically became Kenyan as that was the terms of independence. (however at age 21, that may have been voided if he failed to confirm it)

3. He became Indonesian, either through adoption or through acclaiming citizenship as indicated in his school registration and use of his step-father’s name, and probably Indonesian passport.

4. He is American in that his birth was registered in Hawaii and his mother was American (except she was technically, according to the law at the time, not old enough to pass that citizenship to him).

The founding fathers specifically addressed the situation by distinguishing ‘natural born’ and grandfathered their status (having been mainly British subjects before the Constitution) the intent of which was to not have a President who had divided loyalties.

So, here we are today - the Constitution is relegated to a novelty imprint on toilet paper, and if that is the case, the President of the United States has no authority, the Congress and the Supreme Court likewise lack all authority, since that same Constitution is what empowers them. What a fine can of worms we have here - guess we should all go fishing and ‘hope’ it will all go away and that the ‘change’ doesn’t matter.

It is accepted that he was legally adoped by his Indonesean step-father. Indonesia doesn’t accept dual citizenship. There is no record that Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama, ever applied for U.S. citizenship.

The “An American Expat in Southeast Asia” blog reports that Obama’s Indonesian schooling began when he was entered into the Roman Catholic, Franciscus Assisi Primary School on January 1, 1968 and sat in class 1B. He was registered under the name Barry Soetoro, serial number 203. School documents listed Barry Soetoro as an Indonesian citizen and his religion was listed as Islam. He will spend three years at Franciscus.
