Obama campaigned on his personality and judgment and won. Now, like it or not, he isn't beholden to anyone.

Nov. 29, 2008 | Judging by the proliferation of capital letters in the e-mail correspondence I receive, many seem worried that Barack Obama may not deliver the promised "change we can believe in."
After voters rejected the mantra of free trade and deregulation, some of those contacting me say they are upset that Obama is hiring so many free-trading deregulators who birthed today's economic mess.
With the president-elect having touted his opposition to the Iraq war, some are bothered "that Obama's national security team will be dominated by appointees who favored the Iraq invasion and hold hawkish views," as the Los Angeles Times reports.
Others recall Obama's insistence that "change doesn't come from Washington; change comes to Washington," and say they are dismayed that his government will be run by Washington insiders. And still others are confused that Obama championed a progressive platform but, as the Nation's Chris Hayes notes, "not a single, solitary, actual dyed-in-the-wool progressive" has been floated for a major Cabinet position.

He figured out that because many "progressive" institutions are merely Democratic Party appendages and not ideological movement forces, he could build his own movement."
In other words "the one" is about "the one" - real shocker there. This man got elected based on the cult of personality - but we freepers already knew that, didn't we? Only God knows the damage this empty suit is going to do.

I’m really hoping he does very little damage. So far, he’s been fairly centric and pragmatic in his policy statements and cabinet picks. They speak worlds of his inexperience even while he’s pounding the “I am change” drum. Hopefully he won’t gain too much confidence and will allow the gray suits to handle the reins, keeping “change” at token symbolic levels.
At least one person, and that person (the author) has demonstrated that he is a fool.
Obama proved that it is easy to make idiot voters out of ignorant people. Nothing more nothing less.

What to do when the free pies run out.
Where the damage is going to be done is in the appointment of judges - this is where his radical leftwing stripes will come out. Here is where the radical left wing dirty work will be done.

Ok, that title “In Barack We Trust”, come on. He won’t even produce the simplest of Constitutional requirements to be prez-you must be a natural born citizen Barry! We can’t even trust he is elegible to be prez! Come on now Barry, even those who are more equal than others, must show their US COLB to run for Prez. You are so so special. You will get a pass on that Barry. Mustn’t doubt The One.

I’m hoping for the opposite. The quicker he gets to destroying the country the more likely the sheeple out there will be to actually understand where that pain came from. The worse they are, the better people will understand the left.

color, personality, white guilt, anyone else but..., we need a change?????, we need the world to love us again and never did anyone of these idiots care about associations, charactor, moral jugement, patriotic American values.My sister said it perfect, she voted for the one because “he’s a very smart man” why I asked , do you say this? because CNN SAID SO! I rest my case! Nice to know I was the one in the family who inherited common sense.
