BOSTON - Gay and bisexual men in Massachusetts continue to be the hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic with a significant percentage of new cases appearing among minority men.
That’s according to a new report by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health that found while the state has had success battling the disease among injection drug users and heterosexual men and women, it has had less success among gay and bisexual men.
More than half of HIV infections between 2004 and 2006 were among gay and bisexual men even though they make up less than 10 percent of the population.

We’ve been hearing about condoms and “safe sex” for over 20 years now. Has that message not penetrated critical masses in the homosexual community? I’ve heard of “gay” bars which have bowls of condoms sitting on the counters. Are they just there for decoration?
It would be more correct to say that "more than half of HIV infections between 2004 and 2006 were among openly gay and bisexual men. . ." as many of the other men probably got AIDS from a homosexual encounter as well but they'll go to their graves never admitting as much.
It's a plague, it will accelerate, and there will be no cure for it, because the purpose of the plague was to stop the promiscuity. That has not happened.
However, if Emperor Obama says for the public good HIV/AIDS patients have to be quarantined, he wouldn't get a peep of objection. Watch, they will be the first to be herded in the "relief" chambers, like sheep. Universal health care will not be able to afford to indulge people who are or will be fatally ill.
They will push euthanasia in Congress and these people will be the first to get the needle. Prisoners will be next, since the jails are overcrowded and the health care system is overwhelmed. Since death is a foregone conclusion for the elderly, they will be next. Healthy or not, everybody dies at 70, it'll save on health care and Social Security. The handicapped and wheelchair-bound people? The depressed? What use are they? Off the SSI disability-teat and onto that bed! They'll go too.
The Dems are really good at turning on those who vote them in. This is what happens when a group of people think they have the power to decide who lives and who dies.

Way less than 10% of the population, since homosexuals both male and female are at most 2%.
