However, I dissent with you on Palin’s ability to unseat Hillary if McCain steps aside in 2011. If McCain goes in, then implements liberal policy and then decides to run again, he will be strongly challenged by conservatives in the primaries like Palin, etal. Never again will we be saddled by the results of democrat-lite policies as we have been by W.

That's not what I meant. I think Palin gets the boot for this round but comes back strong against Hillary when McCain decides not to run in 2012. Palin will have a fight on her hands but Clinton is shrewd and Palin will have a fight.
