Sought: Wal-Mart shoppers who trampled NY worker

NEW YORK – Police were reviewing video from surveillance cameras in an attempt to identify who trampled to death a Wal-Mart worker after a crowd of post-Thanksgiving shoppers burst through the doors at a suburban store and knocked him down.

Criminal charges were possible, but identifying individual shoppers in Friday's video may prove difficult, said Detective Lt. Michael Fleming, a Nassau County police spokesman.

I wonder how much merchandise was shoplifted while all this was going on.If they were trying to tear the doors off the hinges,I doubt if much of anything got payed for.

I seriously doubt even a single one will be as much as questioned in the investigation, no matter how well they are identified. Chances are, a good number of these fine citizens were in a rush to steal the store blind anyways. The end result, as always, is that because they are minority rioters, they will get another free pass.

Agreed. If the makeup of juries for criminal cases matches the mob, then any perp who is arrested for this savagery will be swiftly acquitted.

the real culprit could have been those shoving from behind...hard to say with a crowd that large. I think walmart should close that store down forever....I can't imagine ever stepping foot in there again if I had been in that crowd.

America continues to pay for bringing over the slaves...Civilized societies do not behave like animals. There is a reason why Africans behave well like Africans. Regardless of what we want to believe...that all are equal... DNA, crime statistics, IQ tests and historical evidence do not support such beliefs and when we see incidents like this it is obvious why our differences are more than just skin color.
