As I think back over the last 18 months leading up to the election, replaying many of the statements and promises and debates, a glaring omission becomes obvious.
Did either of the last two candidates ever say anything at all about one of the most alarming and unprecedented catastrophes ever to happen to our country? The absolutely criminal mass invasion of the United States of America by some 14 million illegal aliens?
That's 14 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS!
There were numerous references to the demolition of the World Trade Center and the air attack on the Pentagon that left over 3,000 Americans dead. Both Obama and McCain swore to defend our country against a similar attack and to do whatever it takes to keep us safe from Islamic terrorists. They talked about Iraq and Afghanistan, military defense and homeland security, Guantanamo Bay and the alleged torture of suspected extremists; they talked about the necessity to build international cooperation; and of course they spent a lot of time talking about our collapsing economy and the brigands in Congress and executive suites who had conspired to bankrupt homeowners and all us taxpayers.
But I can't remember any but a couple of passing references to the need for "immigration reform," and then a quick changing of the subject, as if the topic were scalding hot. And it is. But since both candidates desperately wanted the escalating Hispanic vote, neither wanted to venture any kind of suggestion about what should be done about 14 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS, literal invaders quietly settling in to permanent residency.

Ah, a Rino reunion???
Welcome to FR, noobian princess
(You’re all wet, not just the ears)
Here in California a few years back we passed Prop 187 which essentially cut off any non citizen from getting schooling, welfare, free medical etc.
If honored, it would have caused an Exodus of Illegal Criminal Insurgent Invader Alien Colonists to other states and Mexico.
No need to deport anyone if we just enforce our laws.
One judge deemed it "unconstitutional" and therefore made it null and void.
"Democracy" didn't work because of a criminal constitutionally illegal decision by one judge.
Oh and BTW this country is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. It was set up that way for good reason.
Number one we don't live in a democracy.
Number two..."the people" do want to deport illegals, but the "peoples" government doesn't.
Number three, the "people" of the Pubbie Party got McCain shoved down their throats.
Number four....you are "clearly" wrong....
What would happen to the drug dealers' families if 14 million Spanish-speaking criminal distributors and consumers disappeared?
What would happen to La Raza's membership income and staff compensation if 20 million la razas went home?
Who *cares*?
Number one: Democracy and republican government are not mutually exclusive. Our nation is both.
Number two: Wrong. The people don’t hold the governments feet to the fire. Pro-amnesty candidates are elected and reelected. You don’t see millions demonstrating at the capitol. How many senators lost reelection because they opposed building the fence? How many congressmen lost their seats because they supported amnesty?
Number three: McCain wasn’t shoved down anybodies throat. he won the primary. He wasn’t just pro-illegal, he was the MOST pro-illegal candidate and he won anyway. As we speak he is scheming with Obama to pass the amnesty bill. People knew this and voted for him regardless.
Here is a bright idea, defeat McCain next time he runs for senate! he is running in 2010, why cant we run a conservative against him? The left does this all the time, when is the last time you saw a grassroots conservative campaign against a RINO?
You need to read up some....

Were you around when Bush and the Fed's tried amnesty last time? Millions of working folks generally don't march on Washington...but we do and did call, fax, e-mail, and write letters. Guess what "we" stoppd them. Just because the MSM / DBM make you apparently "think" illegal immigration isn't important....doesn't make it so.

Please describe the Primaries to me....How are they done? When does Texas ( one of the MOST populated sates in the U.S. ) get to vote in the Primaries? Let me say it again....McCain was SHOVED down our throats.
fwiw-

"Chonny, Rooty and me annunce aur nomeenachun for
Best Elecshun Night Purformance By a Pukeneo."
"Aur nomeenachun goes to Fox-teevee's Billy Kristol for his great act,
'I Know Nothing About This 2008 Republican Potty Disaster.' "
"Watta chowman dat puke Billy ees."

"Thank you. We pukes are gratified the Republican Potty is honoring me. "
I bet there are many more than that.
This issue is the main reason I was disgusted that McCain was our candidate.
Now, he will vote with the 'Rats, and we will get amnesty almost surely.
Pat Boone is a national treasure!
Pat Boone and JH2 MEGA BUMP!
Bump that!
Excellent post!
I am a long time member of NUMBERSUSA, and have just joined FAIR.
I urge others to join, as well.
I give credit to these groups for stopping the amnesty bills...twice!
Maybe, with more members, they will be able to stop it, again!
Thanks for the ping!
I hear crickets...........................
I would not put it past them.
we should print this and mail it to the do nothing congress and presidents.
