MyFoxNY.com -- A Long Island couple knew that getting married was expensive. What they didn't count on was the priest planning to charge them extra for living together. Fox 5's Arnold Diaz exposes a so-called 'fornication fee'.

A Long Island couple knew that getting married was going to be expensive. But what they didn't count on was that the priest was going to charge them extra for living together.

Gee, I’m surprised Alex Murphy didn’t post this first.

A Democrat Priest? If it moves tax it? I have an ex-wife that would be tax-free. And worth it.

If you get a fake priest for your wedding, I guess you can expect a fake fee. I can’t stand watching TV, so I guess I’ll never know how on earth anyone could manage to even find a fake priest. Surely you would go to the local parish and arrange the details of the marriage with the priest at the rectory.

He is not a bishop or a priest, he's just a fraud.

But he is a creative fraud.

they didn't want to be married indoors so they went looking for a “priest” that would marry them outside. There are many advertisements in bridal magazines and there is always a search engine. Supposedly they were good enough catholics to remain celibate until marriage (so they say) but when it came to following church law, they tried to pull a fast one on the church — and got burnt.

I cannot believe that anyone would believe anything this guy said. Those poor people are too immature to get married.

The Catholic solution is to have the wedding at the church and a reception afterward outdoors, with a big tent for eating and dancing.
