Hundreds of shoppers smashed through windows at a Long Island Wal-Mart early Friday morning, killing one store employee in the stampede. News' reader Nakea Augustine caught the chaotic scene on her cell phone, check out the photos.

All people when pressed by circumstance have the capacity to act as animals. Some individuals just have lower thresholds than others.
Prayers up for the young man's family, coworkers, and friends, and for the young lady who miscarried and her family as well.
I hope no one involved in this stampede forgets what happened and know shame and remorse for their part, but that its victims are spared the recurring pain and anger of frequent remembrance through God's forgiveness.
You know what? You're right. Go play that insinuated race card elsewhere and get it out of your system; then we can be friendly and have a reasoned debate.

Funny story. My brother had to take a job at the evil Wal-Mart because his teachers retirement didn’t provide health care.

You could have gotten a lot of the deals online. Some of Wal-Mart’s deals were not, but others were, such as the 129 blu ray.

Some shoppers who had seen the stampede said they were shocked. One of them, Kimberly Cribbs of Queens, said the crowd had acted like “savages.” Shoppers behaved badly even as the store was being cleared, she recalled.
“When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling, ‘I’ve been on line since yesterday morning,’ ” Ms. Cribbs told The Associated Press. “They kept shopping.”

Precisely my thoughts. If these non essential items are worth one human life to these people, imagine a food shortage here. These thugs would resort to house to house looting, and if word got out that someone had a sizable stash of food, well not for long...
