Obama: 'Change comes . . . from me'
By NIA-MALIKA HENDERSON
Obama referred to his team of advisers as "fresh thinking," adding that the vision for change comes first and foremost from me.
President-elect Barack Obama pushed back at a press conference in Chicago today when asked how he would respond to supporters "who were looking for change," given how many of his announced and rumored appointments thus far are Clinton administration veterans.
When it comes to the people that we've pulled together -- because I know this has been sort of conventional wisdom floating around Washington -- that, well, you know, there's a recycling of people who were in the Clinton administration, Obama replied, referring specifically to the economic team he introduced on Monday. And so it would be surprising if I selected a Treasury secretary who had had no connection with the last Democratic administration because that would mean that the person had no experience in Washington whatsoever.

sounds like a critical success factor to me.
Malignant Narcissism
From Wiki...
An absence of conscience, a psychological need for power, and a sense of importance (grandiosity) are often symptomatic of Malignant Narcissism.
Much more, and many other sites offer addnl insight to this vewwy skewwy psycopathy.
Obama votes — present.
All we have to celebrate about this guy so far is that he hasn’t appointed many out-and-out rabid leftists to any high profile positions. In the wake of the election and the campaign Hussein ran (especially in the primaries) we are all thankful for what appear to be some small favors.
But we still don’t know how he will govern. He has promised quite a few things and the economic mess may well prove to be an obstacle to his implementing some of his gems of change (we can only hope). But there are still plenty of things he can do to foul the waters especially in areas like life issues, depravity as a civil right and, of course, the emasculation of the military and a retreat in the war on Islamic aggression. And watching this bunch adminstering hundreds of billions of dollars in “economic stimulus” or “economic relief” funds ought to be a real treat. And amnesty for millions awaits.
If Hussein really does think of himself as some stellar figure destined to lead America into the light we are in real trouble.
No experience in Washington. Isn’t that what he promised?
Did anyone hear the caller to Rush — about an hour after this news conference — who said he’d voted for Obama because of Obama’s “humility”. Rush pretty much hung up on him, and he almost never does that!

Too long for a campaign slogan. "Change" sounds better.
Thus spake Baby Hugo.
Malignant Narcissim is a GREAT song by Rush (the rock band). I just hope Obama doesnt ruin it by taking it for his theme song! Although it would fit - it sounds great but has no real meaning. (It’s an instrumental!)
The link is from Rush’s live Snakes & Arrows album.

He was the one who extended his "sympathy" to Rush, and then went on about how humble both Biden and Obama are.
I thought Rush handled him beautifully.

The only thing Comrade 0bama has ever run is his mouth.
My priest said that hope and change does not come from actors or politicians, it comes from Jesus Christ.
No self-esteem issues there, huh . . .
