Can anyone verify the rumor that Medved actually voted for Obama after pushing very hard for McCain over Romney? If so, what was his rationale? And if so, this is a very big turnoff for me.

I don’t expect to see too many FReepers there. Being conservatives, they’ll be working (unless they’re retired - like me).

I attended a Medved book signing - live show nearly four years ago. It was fun.

Al Rantel voted for Obama, but Medved would have been acting way out of character had he done so.

I don't know.

Before the election, Al told his audience that he couldn’t vote for McCain because he had strayed too far off the conservative reservation. But as to why he voted for Obama, instead of a third-party candidate or casting a write-in vote for Porky Pig, I have no clue.
