Mumbai: At least 15 people have been injured in gunfights between two groups in at least three places in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Details are sketchy but it is believed that two gangs fired at each other at outside CST Railway Terminus, Hotel Oberoi and the popular Café Leopold restaurant in Mumbai.
The first shooting took place near the CST police station

It’s crazy irresponsible journalism. I heard one blurb, about an hour ago on CNN, attibuting the situation to Indian Muslim alienation because of the situation in Kashmir and resentment of Indian internal security forces This is at the same time CNN is reporting that British and American citizens were being singled out. There was no attempt by CNN to square the two accounts.... How can you report news if you can’t even execute grade school level logic?
Maybe it had something to do with The East Indian Company in Bombay ? On another note maybe we should start a thread that deals with survival skills in crisis .

I can’t listen to that arrogant, pompous, ignorant POS Amanpour. I rarely have CNN on anyway, but if she comes on I automatically change the channel. Of course, the Mediascum like Amanpour have caused me to tune out completely from TV news except occasionally in a “breaking news” crisis.
