Breaking : SHOOTOUTS IN MUMBAI [A lot of people killed and injured]

Mumbai: At least 15 people have been injured in gunfights between two groups in at least three places in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Details are sketchy but it is believed that two gangs fired at each other at outside CST Railway Terminus, Hotel Oberoi and the popular Café Leopold restaurant in Mumbai.
The first shooting took place near the CST police station

Hmmm... Gujarat is a pretty large area. It runs from Pakistan down almost all the way down to Mumbai. Speedboats? Fishing boats? Rubber rafts? It will probably take a while to get all this sorted out...

One of the police chiefs was reported to have been killed by a terrorist sniper. The police must have thought they had completely lost control of Mumbai for a few hours. No wonder the military was called in.

Local CNN International lady on saying they went door to door to check guests and escort them out, saying they are getting a little conflicting information on whether everyone has been evacuated yet from the old hotel and towers, lot of ambulances there to take people to hospitals.

Just reported that all terrorist came into Mumbai by boat. Apparently they took a large fishing boat from Gujurat. The rubber crafts were launched from the boat. That fishing boat could have entered the port near the Gateway of India. That is near the Taj Hotel and about the middle of the city on the western shoreline. Google Earth shows that large boats do anchor in the harbor near the Gateway of India.
