Mumbai: At least 15 people have been injured in gunfights between two groups in at least three places in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Details are sketchy but it is believed that two gangs fired at each other at outside CST Railway Terminus, Hotel Oberoi and the popular Café Leopold restaurant in Mumbai.
The first shooting took place near the CST police station

couple this with the earlier news about the speedboats supposedly being registered from Pakistan . . . not good
A trip by rubberized boat would have taken at least two days from Karachi. And they probably would have only traveled by night with no lights. I am more likely to believe the Islamic pirates or Pakistan extremists have a diesel sub at play here.
I think this raid was a provocation intended to trigger a war between India and Pakistan. And I’ll bet the Pakistani government will cooperate with India in finding out to whom those boats were registered.
It’s gotta be more than 10 guys.

One of the reasons for a attack from sea is operational security for the terrorists. No last-minute snitches or second thoughts about martyrdom to screw things up. This would be especially important with a large force, as this certainly seems to be.

Roger Dat!,,,Fresh Troop,,,
I counted 15 terrs(killed/captured) at last reports,,,
10 attack-points?,,,
That’s gotta be 50-60 men at least,,,?...

Relax, everyone, the UN Secretary General has issued a statement declaring that these attacks are “unacceptable”
Now the the UN head honcho has chimed in so decisively we can be certain that all will be well.
If the Paki’s weren’t directly involved they must be sweating bullets over the possibility of rogue active or former ISI dudes.
50-60 men may be about right.
Note regarding post no. 1208: At least one of the videos in post no. 1208 has been inaccurately titled. Seems to be a translation, punctuation problem.
It sure appears so. That approx. 600 mile sea route I mentioned is fairly direct - the boats could follow the Pakistani coastline for part of it, but there is a good 100 miles or more over open water as they get close to Mumbai. I suppose they could have hugged the Indian coastline (making the trip even longer) but that would seem to raise the possibility of being detected? I’d guess those are really BUSY waters, though. (?)
picked this up from another board - have yet to see it posted elsewhere - so take this with a grain of salt:
One of the terrorists who was captured is evidently spilling his guts about what he knows. He confirmed that he entered through the water via speedboat. Also new info that at least 10 terrorists came directly from Karachi.

Well THAT outta bust everything wide open!!!
Ya’ think they got the waterboard out...?
I think the Paki’s were not directly involved and they are sweating bullets.
I wouldn’t think there was official Pak. involvement but there certainly could have been a faction within the ISI that wants to undermine the Pak. govt. and subvert any cooperation between India and Pak.
Maybe. But is he lying, or is blaming Pak part of the plan, a la Executive Orders.
We know they read Clancy...
Probably right.
10 attack-points,,,
I got a bad feelin’ bout that RDX and the hostages...
