Fox News announced that after 12 years, Alan Colmes will be leaving the top-rated "Hannity & Colmes" at the end of the year. “I approached Bill Shine (FNC’s Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network," Colmes said in a statement. "Although it’s bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I’m proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years.” Sean Hannity said Colmes was "a remarkable co-host," "great friend," and "skillful debate partner.” Colmes will remain a Fox commentator, and continue hosting "The Alan Colmes Show" on Fox News Radio. Also, he's developing a weekend show.

Kirsten: When she first showed up a few times on FNC, she sounded sloshed and exhibited typical lib-type symptoms.
H & C gets real good rating with Colmes who is a total jerk. Gotta believe it could do better with a personable lib instead of the undesirable Colmes.

Oh yeeeaaaah! You could get some of those Springer bouncers in there to charge onstage when things go to fist city. Lots of bleeping this and bleepin' that. Heck, he has Springer on as a guest sometimes, get him as Executive Producer and let him show them how to do it right.

Eye candy for sure. The second thing I noticed about her is that she doesn’t have the rabid demeanor so prevalent among the lib commentators. She has a thoughtful way about her, although consistently wrong (IMO). I actually enjoy listening to her. Given that FoxNews is “fair & balanced” I hope she gets a gig counterpoint to Sean so she has more airtime.

That said; Alan is an honest Liberal; who truly believes in the rightness of his positions; and otherwise, is a nice person. . . and with those qualities, Alan will be hard to replace.
Hey I don’t blame Colmes. Hannity is a broken record. Heard or seen one show, heard or seen them all.
She is and looks very much like her. She seems very sweet and obviously is devoted to Alan. . .and vice-versa.
