Fox News announced that after 12 years, Alan Colmes will be leaving the top-rated "Hannity & Colmes" at the end of the year. “I approached Bill Shine (FNC’s Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network," Colmes said in a statement. "Although it’s bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I’m proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years.” Sean Hannity said Colmes was "a remarkable co-host," "great friend," and "skillful debate partner.” Colmes will remain a Fox commentator, and continue hosting "The Alan Colmes Show" on Fox News Radio. Also, he's developing a weekend show.

I heard that they were transferring Colmes to O’Reilly’s show and will call it “Colmes and O’Reilly”......
My problem with Colmes is that he says all that crap and you know he doesn’t really believe it but has to mouth it because he is the token liberal on Fox.
My wife always said Colmes looked like he had a funny smell about him.... lol...... Colmes is a punching bag... The show would be smart to get somebody tough on the other end of Hannity....
How bout Hannity and Olberman... Although it would most likely diverge into physical fights every night it would be entertaining...

At least Colmes could be entertaining. Hannity is unbearable to watch or listen to.

I always fast forwarded through the Colmes parts of the show, glad he is gone.
I like Kirsten too. She’s not a foaming at the mouth moonbat and can occasionaly be reasoned with. She’s attarctive and well spoken, everything that Alan Colmes is not.
Glenn Beck has a show on FOX starting January, but they have never said what time slot. I guess this is all part of a larger shuffle taking place.

There's some. But they're too vapid and vacuous to debate Hann.... Oh, wait. What am I saying. Hannity doesn't debate he proselytizes with sentences full of "you knows" and "I means".

EXACTLY what I was thinking. She is the perfect replacement. I think that would be exciting. Although I often disagree with her positions, she does articulate the left positions in a linear many times thoughtful manner. Sometimes with a certain sense of objectivity which I like. Of course even though I am a woman it is not lost on me that she is also hot looking and much better eye candy. Sorry Alan :-).
