Huck: Palin ‘looks better in stilettos’
Politico ^ | Nov. 24, 2008 | Andy Barr

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he was surprised by John McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin because he believes the only difference between himself and the Alaska governor is “she looks better in stilettos than I do.”

Reflecting on the Palin pick in an interview with the New Yorker posted Monday, Huckabee told the magazine that “I was scratching my head, saying, ‘Hey, wait a minute. She’s wonderful, but the only difference was she looks better in stilettos than I do, and she has better hair.’”

Huckabee insisted that Palin “was given a pass by some of the very people who said I wasn’t prepared.” “It wasn’t so much a gender issue, but it was like they suddenly decided that everything they disliked about me was O.K,” he said.

Huckabee or for that matter any other Republican leader should be very happy they were not picked by McCain as his running mate. They should send flowers and greeting cards to Sarah Palin otherwise their political future would have been destroyed. Sarah is the only politician that would take all the abuse and still thrive among the base. I just can’t wait to see all the wannabes slip one by one in the ratings and disappear into obscurity. Huckabee should write a check for 2500 to Palin Presidential Fund and shut up his mouth the next four years

From within and without the GOP, the campaign is to reduce Sarah Palin to an airhead beauty queen whose only appeal to the electorate is below the belt.

This isn’t about making her into another Dan Quayle. This is about making her into a Hooters girl.

He annoys me more and more every time he opens his mouth. Why Fox has given a show, and increasing status as a “pundit” is beyond me.

Huck is obviously trying to keep up with Commie Campbell, KKKatie, and Corrupt-o-Crat Nancy.

I have told all of you that Huckabee is not a nice guy. He is a two faced liar. He is not a conservative either. He has so many people fooled that haven't had the ‘pleasure’ of his governorship.

He nothing more than Bill Clinton (minus the woman thing as far as I know) disguised as a Baptist preacher. I used to be a big supporter until I wised up to his real politics.

ABC Radio Networks and Governor Mike Huckabee Team to Launch The Huckabee Report

Last update: 1:11 p.m. EST Nov. 13, 2008

DALLAS, Nov 13, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Short Form Radio News Feature To Air Twice Daily

ABC Radio Networks announced today that it has signed former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to its extensive roster of news/talk talent. The Huckabee Report will be broadcast weekday mornings and afternoons and provide listeners with the top news stories of the day while also drawing on Huckabee's experiences as a former governor and presidential candidate. The short form news features will launch on Jan. 5, 2009.

"It's truly an honor to add someone of Governor Huckabee's stature to our portfolio," said Jim Robinson, President of ABC Radio Networks. "His perspective on the day's leading issues and events as they relate to American culture and policies is sure to resonate with radio audiences looking for the latest headlines mixed with a bit of humor and common sense. This partnership has tremendous potential and will be a key win for our affiliates in the coming year." Huckabee has authored six books including the recently released Do The Right Thing, which chronicles his campaign for the presidency and his views on the need for vertical politics in America. He is also the host of Huckabee on Fox News Channel.

"My first job at the age of 14 was reading the early morning news, sports, weather and even commercials at our local radio station, so in a sense, this is an opportunity for me to return to my roots," said Governor Huckabee. "I worked my way through high school and college in radio and loved every minute of it. The team at ABC Radio Networks has a stellar reputation for syndicating news programming and I'm pleased that I'll be partnering with them as I reach out to Americans across the airwaves."

Huck, Huck, Huck.

Palin attacked and won a corrupt old-boys' network in her state. You try that in Arkansas?

Didn't think so.

Palin wasn't a pro-Amnesty, tax-hiking liberal on fiscal issues. You are.

There's a hell of a lot more to Sarah than her good looks, you diptard. She energized the base, for example, despite playing second fiddle to a candidate who was anathema to it. Remember the base, Huck? R's with no I-N-O's after it. Many of us could persuade ourselves to vote against Obama, but then came Sarah, and we ended up voting enthusiastically for her.

Wouldn't have been quite the same with you on the ticket, Huck.

And she wiped the floor with Joe Biden in their debate. I really doubt you could've done as well.

Hmmm, I don’t recall Mr. Huckabee ever walking away from a six-figure job on principle or fighting corruption within his own party.
