On April 7, 1964, a 26-year-old detective in the New Orleans Police Department skipped up the steps into the Old Civil Courts building in New Orleans and presented himself to the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President Kennedy.
Id always known my father had been acquainted with Oswald. They had not only grown up half a block away from each other, but had shared homerooms at school. Sitting alphabetically, my old man Fred sat in front of Oswald for years. OSullivan next to Oswald.
Sifting through my Dads papers I came upon a letter from Jacqueline Kennedy thanking my father for appearing before the commission. It wasnt something he spoke of often just a tidbit of information in a life that went on to greater adventures. ...

That’s it guy, you’ve just lost your command on the black helicoptor.
I hope you’re happy.
Let this serve as a warning to you, Bob.
As long as you’re sure the “bankers” took out JFK and they were “professionals not taking any chances” how is it that the “pros” barely got off that last headshot before speeding into the underpass? Some pros, the barely got him.
Your theory that you’re positive is of is 1 of 1000 theories, as long as we can keep you guessing we’ll be able to keep your eyes off the big prize, you will never defeat us, you won’t know the master plan until it’s too late...
Keep em’ guessing, who’s who, who’s working for the government, what’s a joke, what’s code, what are our other screennames?? BWAHHAHAHHHAHH
Soon they will all be under our thumb.
Pros shoot once; the NYPD shoots 49 times, and hits once.
Pros shoot once; the NYPD shoots 49 times, and hits once.
____________
So how many “pros” were there? There were 3 shots fired, where did they come from? Why did those “pros” hit Connaly?
Post 89, I clicked on the link and I find the book, _Lady Bird_ there (excerpted) so interesting reading. Thanks.
The view from the TSBD looking at Dealey Plaza as the motorcade approaches:
You can pan around the sniper's nest to see stacks of textbooks:
From the scope, you can see that the target is limited from this angle, and there is the bulletproof glass. Also, the car moves quite a lot as it comes toward you, making it difficult to track the shot:
As the car makes the left turn, it is even more difficult to track as it is now a left-right motion:
Once the car emerges from behind the tree, JFK's entire back is available. You can aim the rifle just above where you are shooting, and the target enters the scope. It is almost impossible to miss from here:
After the shooting is over, it tallies your score, and replays your shots, Zapruder style:
If you hit JFK right after the car passes the tree, the "Zapruder" relay will show him reacting just as he passes the sign as he does in the real film. You also have the option to play the replay from different angles. I realize this is only a simulation, but it does give an idea of what Oswald saw (and I reduced these screenshots to preserve bandwith). Also, you may not make the same shots as Oswald. You may succeed with one shot.
This to me seemed personal and she said “they”. I wondered if Jackie didn't know something. Why did she say “they”? For all she supposedly knew some deranged nut may have killed her husband so why would she care that such a person would see what they had done?
I think most people would want to get out of the suit as soon as possible. Her drive to "show them what they had done to Jack" overrode the normal impulse to remove such a gory, bloodied outfit even though Jackie by nature seemed very put together and proper.
It seemed to me that she may have guessed who was responsible for killing the President or or at least thought she knew who had done it. If disclosing such information would have put the Kennedy legacy in jeopardy she may have taken it to her grave, even if she did know something.
