Democrats are rapidly ratcheting up plans for a massive fiscal stimulus program that could total as much as $700 billion over the next two years. When the sons of Saddam Hussein tried this with the banks of Iraq, we called it looting.

So I guess they changed their mind about criticizing budget deficits over the past seven years.

Obama and his ilk will give everyone hundreds of dollars in their pockets thus buying votes for the mid-term elections and 2012. That way, the dims will be in power for the next hundred years with all the free money give aways. Where is all this money going to come from? Taxes, taxes, and more taxes on anyone with an actual pay day. Thanks republican party and thanks to George W. Bush. Together you destroyed the party and set up the dims for total domination of our country. With as bad as things are now, ANY progress forward will only cement Obama for a second term.

This is idiocy
This is NOT a government "bailout."
All this is being paid for, every penny of it, by those of us who pay taxes.
Not one cent is being paid by the "gubernmint" or the welfare class who don't pay taxes.
You and I are paying for all of it!
We all need to wake up!
How about "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

With his stated goal of "creating" 2.2 million jobs, watch the media spinmeisters and the government number crunchers conspire to make that goal come true.
Even if the increased taxation, the decline in confidence in the dollar, and the withdrawal of money from the private sector ends up in the loss of that many jobs and more, the "gain" in the public sector jobs will be heralded as "visionary" and "progressive" just as the budget-busting and wasteful policies of FDR were, and the 0bama fan club will count the newly created jobs with pride. The press lionized Roosevelt for his useless and dangerous policies, and they will do the same for 0bama.
The bonus is that public employees overwhelmingly vote Democrat, so this policy generates an instant constituency. Who loses? Conservatives.

At this point, what difference does it make if it's 700 billion or 50 trillion...They're playing with Monopoly Money so the numbers are meaningless to them...
With the inflation this is going to bring, we'll be huntin' for boats to get to China where the wages will be better...
