Day 4: Ballot-counters press on, find glitches (Coleman 180 vote lead. Franken gets caught cheating)

Minnesota's U.S. Senate recount didn't take time off Saturday, as tabulators and observers turned out at a handful of centers around the state to whittle the stacks of ballots.

By late Saturday, Republican Sen. Norm Coleman had bolstered his lead over DFLer Al Franken. With 68 percent of 2.9 million ballots counted, Coleman's narrow margin grew to 180 votes, a 50 percent jump on his 120-vote lead Friday. Some of that may be attributed to the increased number of Franken ballots challenged by Coleman's campaign, which removes those ballots from the count.

The figures represent a compilation of recount data reported to the secretary of state and gathered by the Star Tribune.

Have you heard the Franken camp complain about Coleman’s challenges like conservatives complained about Democrat shenanigans back in 2000? Hillarious.

I heard Coleman is challenging ones without full names, addresses, write-in “Franken for President”, etc, whereas Franken is challenging ballots that didn’t completely have the circle filled in but was marked in the circle. At the end of the day, it will be a 215 vote lead for Coleman because the same ones being rejected by hand were rejected by machine and at that time the people submitting the ballots knew the ballot was rejected because the machine told them.

The sad part is that there are so many “dumbed down” folks who would vote for Franken in the first place.

I’d like to see Coleman suffer a whole lot more for voting for the $700 billion bail-out, but not enough to have Feces as a Senator

If Coleman and Chambliss hold on they can make it very difficult for the Auto-makers to get the bailout. The bailout will go through but all we can hope is that the GOP makes it as difficult as possible and maybe the unions can be busted up to some extent.

Franken is losing and in a state of desperation. They have run out of fraudulent Democrat ACORN votes in the trunks of people’s cars, in the janitor’s closet and underage voters registrations.

It would just cause Canada to go to war with us to take it back.

...every November we should send the “dumbed down” a subscription to “O” magazine to keep them busy on election day!

You are assuming that these so-called Republicans will grow a spine and not cave to the Rats. These Rhinos and others like will only continue their past patterns.

I have a bridge to sell you if you don;t believe me.

"True. I think we should give Minnesota to Canada."

And Kalifornia to Mexico. Let them "reconquista" the state's debt.

If you give all those Franken vote fraud counters free acid, would they just trip happily away into the sunset?

Just a thought ...

Missing ballots? Somehow I don't think they were favorable to Coleman. Coleman increased his challenges because of the Franken and Soros fraud that's trying to be perpetrated.
