Hate to say it, but we might be needing something like the Civilian Conservation Corps soon.

Way better to have something like that going than have a young mom or whatever getting murdered when she leaves the store with her two bags of groceries.

And the country could use alot of infrastructure improvements.

Back in the day those CCC camps were commanded by an Army captain and one or two NCO’s. The CCC workers pretty much ran things with minimal supervision. Do you think today’s 18-19-20 year olds could do that?

Don’t be thinking like a Dem. That’s what Obama proposed this AM on that radio address.

Nope, not a chance the CCC will do anything long term. We need private investments.

The problem with all these “New Deal II” things is they all end in the same place, when done, it’s back to the unemployment line. Ask FDR how.

You want housing fixed, zero out cap gains, especially for houses and add deductions for rental. You want factory jobs, reduce the corporate tax rate.

You want long term misery, then the CCC is for you.

"And the country could use alot of infrastructure improvements."

Like building a better border wall than originally concieved? If they built the Hoover Dam they can build that too. This is the right time to do it. Then fly all the illegal aliens left to Acupulco for a paid vacacion.

There's nothing wrong with infrastructure improvements.
But not through a CCC.

Pull ALL the international aid money out of the federal budget, (like the 2 billion we give to Egypt) and put that money to use for bid contracts to build new roads, bridges, sewer systems, etc.

This globalist compassion is a misplaced priority, when we still have people hurting in areas hard hit by recent hurricanes, and our country is in dire financial straits. -and take the prevailing wage requirement out of the bid requirements for all highway projects.

I know there would be nation-wide enthusiasm for building a wall between The United States and Mexico, and just think of the jobs it would create.

Actually, it might end up something like that.

After all....there is no organized opposition party to the demoncrats. None. And all the bluster of hard core anti-socialists cannot change that.

Face it. We are alone. Utterly and completely alone and without a coherent, cohesive, viable organization to repel whatever the left wants to do.

Disarray is the term for the once conservative Republican party. It'll take an act of God and a score of months for anything recognizable as a "conservative" tendency to gain any power.

Well, I might just go get me an illegal alien and send him to do my CCC work. I'll give him a buck an hour or so and keep the rest. It's the American way.
