I am awaiting clarification from the Clerk's office at the United States Supreme Court as to whether my stay application has now been accepted in lieu of a more formal full petition for certiorari (and/or mandamus or prohibition). Such a transformation is a rare and significant emergency procedure. It was used in Bush v. Gore, a case I have relied on in my brief.
We do know the case has certainly been "DISTRIBUTED for Conference", a process usually reserved for full petitions of certiorari. Stays are usually dealt with in a different manner. As to a stay application, a single Justice may; a) deny the stay; b) grant the stay; c) refer the stay to the full Court.

Bump, this has got to move quickly from here on out. At some point the MSM has to at least take notice. It is criminal that they have chose to ignore all of this.
Leo has layers of claims including COLB/BC but that is not his main claim. This is what a good attorney does. He tried to help the other attorneys like Gary Kreep (Keyes case) beef up their filing but was somewhat rebuffed.
Leo’s web site has a template for other attroneys in other states to take his work and put a state case together. More cases are supposedly coming. Leo did it the right way.
thanks for the link.
Secret U.S. mission hauls uranium from Iraq
Last major stockpile from Saddam’s nuclear efforts arrives in Canada
Msnbc.com updated 6:57 p.m. ET, Sat., July. 5, 2008
The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear program a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.
The removal of 550 metric tons of “yellowcake” the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.
What’s now left is the final and complicated push to clean up the remaining radioactive debris at the former Tuwaitha nuclear complex about 12 miles south of Baghdad using teams that include Iraqi experts recently trained in the Chernobyl fallout zone in Ukraine.
“Everyone is very happy to have this safely out of Iraq,” said a senior U.S. official who outlined the nearly three-month operation to The Associated Press. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject.
While yellowcake alone is not considered potent enough for a so-called “dirty bomb” a conventional explosive that disperses radioactive material it could stir widespread panic if incorporated in a blast. Yellowcake also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.
The Iraqi government sold the yellowcake to a Canadian uranium producer, Cameco Corp., in a transaction the official described as worth “tens of millions of dollars.” A Cameco spokesman, Lyle Krahn, declined to discuss the price, but said the yellowcake will be processed at facilities in Ontario for use in energy-producing reactors.
“We are pleased ... that we have taken (the yellowcake) from a volatile region into a stable area to produce clean electricity,” he said.
Secret mission
The deal culminated more than a year of intense diplomatic and military initiatives kept hushed in fear of ambushes or attacks once the convoys were under way: first carrying 3,500 barrels by road to Baghdad, then on 37 military flights to the Indian Ocean atoll of Diego Garcia and finally aboard a U.S.-flagged ship for a 8,500-mile trip to Montreal.
And, in a symbolic way, the mission linked the current attempts to stabilize Iraq with some of the high-profile claims about Saddam’s weapons capabilities in the buildup to the 2003 invasion.
Accusations that Saddam had tried to purchase more yellowcake from the African nation of Niger and an article by a former U.S. ambassador refuting the claims led to a wide-ranging probe into Washington leaks that reached high into the Bush administration.

Tuwaitha and an adjacent research facility were well known for decades as the centerpiece of Saddam’s nuclear efforts.
Israeli warplanes bombed a reactor project at the site in 1981. Later, U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War. There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said.
U.S. and Iraqi forces have guarded the 23,000-acre site surrounded by huge sand berms following a wave of looting after Saddam’s fall that included villagers toting away yellowcake storage barrels for use as drinking water cisterns.
Yellowcake is obtained by using various solutions to leach out uranium from raw ore and can have a corn meal-like color and consistency. It poses no severe risk if stored and sealed properly. But exposure carries well-documented health concerns associated with heavy metals such as damage to internal organs, experts say.
“The big problem comes with any inhalation of any of the yellowcake dust,” said Doug Brugge, a professor of public health issues at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
‘The biggest story ever that no one knows about.’
‘Excellent way to explain it.’
I mentioned this case to some of my co-workers and they looked at me like I was making it up. I had to print out the docket case to prove it.
Excellent. I’d like to play poker with him, sometime (not that I tend to, for money).
You know in a way I am glad the MSM has not picked up on it. Leo has been sort of working quietly to get this done with help of Americans listening to Internet radio to send letters to SCOTUS. This was due to a SCOTUS clerk who was trying to sabotage this case.
Leo has remained focused and will be doing no media interviews until Dec 5th and will probably only talk to the Internet radio people who backed him when everyone else ignored him.
Leo is an incredible patriot and hero.
I have tried, believe me. Eventually I will get my way...so long as it’s not too late.

We need hundred of thousands more like him.
Rush did not say anything today on this. Did not listen to him except for about a half hour but I asked on the Rush tread here today and was told the only time he has ever mentioned this was briefly about two weeks ago.
I read Leo’s bio and he was championship golfer in college. I like to play golf with him but I s*ck. :-) :-(
He is incredibly passionate about America and The Constitution. The interviews on Internet radio are archived with links on his site. It was the best radio I have probably ever heard and to me it was history. Leo was humble and wanted no praise. he said the heroes were Americans serving in the military, police officers and firemen.
Average Americans fighting to take the country back and to defend The Constitution. I hope the Justices see it that way.
I told close friends and they thought it was a joke at first too. They were stunned. Leo is a hero.
so how is this question relating to McCain’s citizenship? He is also being challenged as someone who is ineligible to run based on a thread from a couple nights ago...
is it because he was born on a military base?
Stanley Ann was eighteen, a freshman in college (they met in "Russian Language" "I-wanna-tryout-to-be-a-Soviet-spy" classes in 1960.
I thought that citizenship coming from dad only applied if he was born overseas, and that anyone born here is always "natural born." Hence the "anchor baby" issue we have now.
Not to be mellodramatic but I almost cried listening to Leo. I never heard anything like it. One man taking on this huge juggernaut that is totally fraudulent. Amazing.
You could tell it was very emotional for Leo. He said over the period of 5 days he got about 10 hours of sleep. Fighting NJ courts trying anything to stop him. Then getting the runaround at SCOTUS.
Lan Lanphere on Am Overnight radio helped too. Average folks in the heartland listening to internet radio helping an average guy from NJ. I had my letters out to the Justices last Friday to help. The SCOTUS clerk was trying to sabotage Leo.
Itgets complicated. With Obama DQ'd, logically it would go to McCain, but the Electoral College MIGHT not give him a majority.....then it goes to the House of Reps, where they would have to decide among the 3 candidates NOT disqualified who received the most electoral votes...by default that would go to McCain. The VP is decided seperately, so you would have a Mcain as Preez and Biden as VP. However, if it were to go past January 20, then sworn-in Obama would have to step down and Biden would assume the Presidency (Frightening thought!),

<<Ditto!
I don’t know if it would help your cause, so to speak, but when we had children at home (ours are now grown) we always had one loaded gun in the house. We live where the danger of grizzly bears can be a serious and deadly threat. I would not have had time to load the shotgun and still be able to quickly protect our children if they, or we, were faced with one.
Our “bear gun” hung high above the door and, of course, our children were taught about guns and gun safety.
In your situation, you needn’t have a loaded gun in the house. Just have somewhere in the house the two parts that will make it an appropriate option for family security.
I had fears as well....but we took all of the commonsense and appropriate steps to insure that our children would not be harmed.
