Ronald Reagan's speech to CPAC in 1975, "Let Them Go Their Way" is the most inspiring template for conservative success you can ever read.
Let Them Go Their Way (Ronald Reagan's Post-Watergate Debacle Election Address Alert)
“No specifics on the how and why, but since party orthodoxys already firmly hawkish, pro-life, anti-gay marriage, and anti-amnesty (among the grassroots, at least, on that last one), presumably what were talking about here is spending and bailout backlash.”
Or that PLUS putting your money where your mouth is on social issues and small government.
“Gallup: 59% of Republicans want GOP to become more conservative”
Which the GOP ptb will take as the perfect opportunity to slink even further left.
41% of GOP want GOP to LOSE!
KentTrappedinLiberalSeattle, I might just be BobTrappedinLiberalMassachusetts.
I am not one of those 59%. EVERY single conservatives up here that I know feel the same way.
And I know a lot of them.
Traditional values are timeless and will always be appealing - except to those who want to destroy them.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
Palin could have beaten Obama. No kidding.
Gallup forgot to mention that 30% of the people he polled were democrats.
Hunt the RINO’S state by state, if you’re a conservative politician in Arizona reading this, run against McCain in the 2010 primary.
I and 1000 other FReepers will drop everything and go to work for ACORN for you signing up “voters” in Arizona.

EMail from Congressman Eric Cantor, VA (R)... Nov 20
Dear Friend,
Yesterday I was elected Republican Whip by my colleagues in Congress. The Whip is the second ranking Republican position in the U.S. House. I want to again thank you for all your help and support. With out you, none of this is possible.
My number one priority is and always will be serving Virginia’s Seventh District. My commitment to excellent constituent service and attention to the people I represent will never change.
It is my hope that this leadership position will provide a broader platform to advocate for the values and principles the people of the Seventh District believe in.
The Whip position will allow me to refocus our party on fiscal discipline, smaller government and increasing our families’ prosperity. I firmly believe that we need to focus on commonsense solutions to the problems facing middle class Americans.
When the new Congress convenes in January, our nation will still be faced with economic turmoil at home and challenges abroad. We need leadership not partisanship in Washington. Our role as Republicans is to work with the new President where we can find common ground. It is also our role to serve as a check and balance on the excesses of the Obama-Pelosi team in Washington.
I thank you again for all your help and support and I look forward to seeing you soon.
(Signed)
What does the Republican Party stand for anymore.
Seems like the time is right for a new party that stands for American sovereignty, Minimal Federal government with the agenda of a massive rollback of Federal power and upholding and defending the Constitution.
Thats it period.
it’s more than 59%
they are asking New Hampshire GOP primary voters sounds like
Competent conservatism will win the day. Reagan was able to appeal to a wider audience because he presented a viable alternative to the dems in a competent and non-polarizing fashion while never abandoning conservative principles.
