Yes, we made the same mistake Venezuelans and Ecuadorians and Bolivians made. And he’s right; communism is ideological envy. For that matter, the crank-populism that is the default political philosophy of the average voter is simply old-fashioned envy turned into a political platform.
And no good ever comes of it.
Men who use envy to get into power never give it up easily, and they have no notion of limited government nor checks nor balances nor individual liberty. Thats not what they are there for.
The envious have found their narcissistic sociopath to lead them and its a match made in hell. We’re in for a real roller-coaster ride.

Kraft, an attorney and writer. “They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution.” Methinks this will never happen. It will never come before the court.
And even if it did, Justice Kennedy will vote with the liberals, on pain of death. Case closed.
