Keyes has to exhaust lower courts first. That was an issue with the Leo case because the clerk docketed it wrong to look like he hadn’t.
I am still confused on the Mccain issue . I don’t know what the law as at the time Mccain was born but I know that the law at the time Obama was born was that he would not be a US citizen because of the residency requirements of his mother due to her age.
Leo seems to taking an unusual approach here as it pertains to Mccain. I haven’t quite figured out the strategy of that one.
The fact that Obama was trying to pass a resolution that said this:
“Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President;”
makes him highly suspect. He was trying to cover all foreign born candidates.
Rogue? Nah, that only applies to Sarah Palin.

If I am born in Illinois or Hawaii and my mother is a US citizen and my father has a green card and it a British subject I should still be eligible to run for President.
So is there something that states BOTH parents must be US citizens before you can be eligible for President.

I think he included McCain so as not to be "picking on" Zero. Although McCain has already shown his BC and Congress ruled he was eligible.
Did the resolution expanding the definition of “natural born citizen,” widely touted as a very gracious move by Obama toward his rival, fail?
It did fail, because the Naturalized Citizen clause.
The Panama Canal Zone was a U.S. territory at the time of McCain’s birth on Aug. 29, 1936.
Then Congress ruled McCain eligible how?
The Supreme court is a little different. Clerks are lawyers and they actually help write opinions. There are those that feel the clerks influence the Justices and try to sway opinion. There was a poll done of former clerks and some indicated they had been able to change a Justice’s mind.
They are highly sought after when they leave the Court.
Bickell is a Stay Clerk. I don’t know what he is allowed to do and not do.
I wouldn’t think he would be allowed to deny an emergency stay request on his own.
McCain wasn’t born in the Zone, though, was he?
Because McCain is a natural citizen, born in U.S territory to a father who was working in Panama on government business (as a diplomat? I think), living on a U.S. military base.

If it were that simple, there would never have been any basis for controversy, no need for a "Sense Of The Senate," and certainly no need for a special resolution redefining "natural born citizen" from Barack Obama. I'm recalling that he wasn't born in US Territory, he was born in a hospital outside the Zone.
The resolution was “non-binding”.
Thought the main gist of Leo’s case is that there is NO ONE assigned to Vet the candidates. That by presenting all thre:. One born outside with two non-citizen parents, One with citizen parents born outside the country, and THE ONE , who parents were mixed and location of birth in questio
Leo claims that the Mixed CItizenship is enough to disquality BO....I wish he’d throw in the (Berg Case) BC? affidavits from Kenya just to make sure. Can Leo use Berg as a witness? Is there any way to combine all three/seventeen into a class action suit?
Can they be heard before the EC meets?
Leo mentioned that the Senate “ruling” to say McCain was eligble was meaningless and illegal. They cannot decide it. I think only SCOTUS can. ??

Our elected officials (Prothonotary, Clerk of Court) and their First Deputies, I believe, take an oath. I don’t know if the rest of the clerks in the office do or not. I’ll have to ask about that one.
Did Coco Solo Hospital exist in 1936? If not, he was born in Colon, Panama, and not the Canal Zone. Isn’t that what his birth certificate indicates?
I think that is what is being questioned.
