Huckabee envious of Sarah Palin? Maybe worried she'll de-rail his presidential prospects?

He’s not saying it critically, mind you. Since when has Huck ever been critical of a rival, overtly or otherwise? Huckabee had some interesting observations about Sarah Palin, a potential 2012 opponent, suggesting that she didn’t earn her spurs and was more appealing to the base of the party because she hadn’t been scrutinized in the primary. “What John McCain did for her was to give her the capacity to sort of leapfrog over the process and get right to the center stage,” he said of the GOP’s vice presidential nominee. Unlike those, he added, who had competed in the Republican primary. “She didn’t have to get bloodied like us. Few people on that stage didn’t get bloodied.” He did allow, though, that she did get bloodied — “but not by the people Republicans care about, you guys.”

Huck is a so-called “Christian Socialist” He preached steal from the rich to give to the poor just as hard as Obama did. I like him on FOX, but couln’t stand him as a presidential candidate.

Bloodied?....She got bloodied more than any of them!...and yet stayed gracious and with a smile on her face.

~~That was my thought—she took the biggest hits of all!

I think the reason the dems and repbubs are so afraid of Sara is because she went after corruption and won. Congress as a whole, is deathly afraid of her and should be. By the way, why are conficted criminals eligible to run for congress??? William Jefferson in Louisianan won. Why don’t they make a law that says any criminal conviction disqualifies you. Jeesh.

This country can't survive eight years of Oba Mao, maybe not even four. Sarah needs to be ready in 2012, even if she takes the second spot and has to drag someone like Fred Thompson or Mitt Romney over the finish line, both of whom I think will be past their prime by 2012, but both of whom ranked #1 and #2 respectively in favorable ratings among Republican candidates.

Sarah is going to have four more years experience as one of the best governors in the nation by 2012, so I would not dismiss her on the experience factor, especially considering the adolescent who will occupy the white house for the next four years.

Huckabee: The moment Palin was announced as McCain's VP, the Left (and the Rockefeller Right) went after her with a vengeance. The fact that she didn't go through the primaries is irrelevant. She wasn't a declared presidential candidate.

"When asked to choose among some of the GOP’s top names for their choice for the party’s 2012 presidential nominee, 64% say Palin. The next closest contenders are two former governors and unsuccessful challengers for the presidential nomination this year -- Mike Huckabee of Arkansas with 12% support and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts with 11%."

The Huckster is okay as a game show host. I just don’t want him in government.

Anyone who has even superficial knowledge of genetics knows that women over 40 who get pregnant have a much more increased risk for delivering babies with Down’s Syndrome. Gov. Palin is in her early to mid 40’s, so actually having a baby with Down’s Syndrome is more likely. I believe that after age 42 the chance is 1 in 60 compared to less than 1 in 1,000 for women under 30.

"I have nothing against Huckabee"

Well, I do. He's obviously a rotten parent who did a lousy job raising his no-good DOG ABUSING AND TORTURING son, then unethically using his office to derail any legal punishment for Gomer Huck, Jr.

First, Mike, if God had really meant for you to be a President, certainly a Republican president, He would almost certainly not have set you down in Hope, Arkansas, nine years after Bubba. Bubba has tainted that particular well for the foreseeable future. What with is probably better left unsaid.

Second...let’s be honest. You want no part of what Sarah Palin went through on this campaign. Nor do any of your rivals from the primary. If any of you does, you need to get out of politics and join the cast of “Jackass”.

Sarah didn't get bloodied "on that stage", Mike.

NO! When they couldn't attack her record as Governor, the MSM and liberal talk shows bloodied her daily concerning her dear baby Trig, her pregnant Daughter and her own Mothering skills.

And she isn't whining about it like a little girl either.
