Razor wire is not a signal that reflects the good relationship between our countries, the statement reads.
--
neither are kidnappings of US citizens and drug trafficking and human smuggling.
JOHN GIBBINS / Union-Tribune
A Border Patrol vehicle yesterday drove in the strip between
the primary border fence and a secondary fence that recently
was topped with razor-studded concertina wire.

Illegals are not coming over because they have not yet figured out how to get a piece of the bail out money.

It seems like as jobs dry up that fewer will cross...unless for new free benefits they will be entitled to...

There is no ‘good relationship’, El Stupido! There is Mexico using the US taxpayer citizen. There is our politicians using us, but that’s it.

plant vines on the wires if they are bothering anyone. no fences are not perfect and won’t prevent criminals who have no respect for our law and refuse to follow the procedure to enter. but neither do apartment gates. however, it slows them down as do apartement gates. it allows time for border guards to do something and also to be alerted if drug lords and the mexican army and police cross the line shooting. it is better than nothing. and for some illegal aliens, the mere site of the fence may deter them from entering since it is what is used at prisons.

Yup - soon as Obama got elected, illegal crossings dropped. And I expect we will have thousands less homeless in America as well.

President-elect Barack Obama and the leftist Congressional majority are not really interested in actually fully protecting our borders, so this article is moot.

However, a growing number of apprehensions and assaults are occurring west of the San Ysidro port of entry, and overall arrests in San Diego County continue to rise. And while smugglers are having a harder time leading people over the fence using flexible ladders as they once did, inventive ones are now using battery-powered saws to cut through it.
SURE!!!

The way to really stop all illegal crossings along the border: Plant a minefield.

Razor wire is not a signal that reflects the good relationship between our countries, the statement reads. On the contrary, my dad always said "razor wire makes good neighbors".
But the lack of construction & service industry jobs el norte has more to do with the decline in illegal crossings.
