Yes, there is a reason everyone is trying to get in and no one is trying to get out.

Trust me, lots of people are wanting to get out. Companies and individuals.

If the taxes don't kill us regulations and political correctness will.

For example, President Martin van Buren had to deal with the devastating Panic of 1837. So what did he do (and does it sound familiar)? He sharply cut taxes and federal spending.

While not quite nonsense, this is utterly inapplicable to today.

The federal government was a great deal smaller in the 1830s and whatever it did it was going to have minimal effect on the economy.

I must admit that when someone hates America, the greatest democracy in the history of the world, which has produced virtually unlimited opportunity for all, I can't explain it. When you encounter such an irrational force, there seems to be no rational explanation.

I don't think it is surprising at all. Although the US is not an officially Christian nation, it is founded on Christian principles and remains a devout nation to this day. Blame-America intellectuals believe that religion in general and Christianity in particular are the root cause of the world's problems and secularism is the solution. Every day the US exists is an offense to them. It is proof that their ideas are wrong. Of course they hate the US.

Good point. Families that believe in Christian principles don’t buy into the socialistic leftist agenda.

“As George Santayana said, “Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.” And he should have added, “Those who accept myth for history are doomed to repeat the catastrophic errors of history that should have been avoided.””
and
“And Reagan would be the first to say we better get our history right and answer the hate-America crowd or we simply won't survive. In his last address from the Oval office he said:

“An informed patriotism is what we want. And are we doing a good enough job teaching our children what America is and what she represents in the long history of the world? ... We've got to teach history based not on what's in fashion but what's important ... If we forget what we did, we won't know who we are. I'm warning of an eradication of the American memory that could result, ultimately, in an erosion of the American spirit. Let's start with some basics: more attention to American history and a greater emphasis on civic ritual.

“And let me offer lesson number one about America: all great change in America begins at the dinner table. So tomorrow night in the kitchen I hope the talking begins. And children, if your parents haven't been teaching you what it means to be an American, let ‘em know and nail ‘em on it. That would be a very American thing to do.”

Americans have work to do, and strangely enough it is to sell the greatness of America to many of our fellow Americans. Our success or failure will determine our future. As Lincoln said, “We - even we here - hold the power and bear the responsibility ... We shall nobly save or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.””

Excellent article.
Have you noticed that the truth is looked over and some convoluted scheme is preferred instead of simply doing what worked and will work and holding on to values that are necessary, and primary to achieving in this generation what was achieved in generations before?

All this distraction away from our core values: and calling it progressive.

Man has not changed. His needs are still the same. Our individual values are constant ...

then comes “the evil one” to tempt and corrupt these values in the name of progressive action ... which really means, it is going to give power and authority to those that do not have the interest of the people of this country at heart.

It is POWER, FAME, AUTHORITY, SUPREME CONCEIT TO RULE THE NATION, AND TO RULE, STEAL, CHEAT THEM OF THEIR MONEY AND POSSESSIONS, FREEDOM, LIBERTY, PROPERTY, SELF RESPECT AND ENSLAVE THEM. All in the name of unity, welfare, political correctness, etc. And we like sheep walk ahead of them: doing as they ask. Voting our own enslavement, loss of the American way.

Accepting one World Government is next.

"LBJ's great society received the same acclaim as the New Deal, but history finds it was a total abject failure. It increased poverty, illegitimacy, crime and social dysfunction."

As will Obama's big "change" result i total abject failure, but unfortunately, like LBJ, He will be praised throughout his term(s), and for decades following. The left ALWAYS, without exception ignores truth and writes history as they envision it to be, always in their favor truth be damned.

Make sure that's soft point 5.56.

Wouldn't want to accidentally injure a person who actually produces something of value to their fellow man.

"They really don't; or else they'd leave"

I disagree. They know that they can't conquer America from the outside, but they know that they can destroy it from the inside. Plus, they want to be here when the collapse comes, because they hope that they will be part of the "Dictatorship of the Proletariat".

I’m afraid you’re correct.

To many of us LBJ’s great society was a disaster when it was taking place and if a great many of BO’s supporters were old enough at the time of LBJ’s farce to realize what was happening BO probably wouldn’t have been elected.

I believe history is about to repeat itself.

"Accepting one World Government is next"

Next? We are already far down that road, and near the end of that process which has been in the works for decades, the framework has been slowly but deliberately erected by each successive government which have all had members supporting world governance it them, overseen by the elitist Marxists who sit at the top of the world governance club. Slowly but surely, schools, municipal governments, lower and higher courts, and federal powers have been infiltrated with them. How many NGO's do we have running around lobbying government? They are who government listen to, not us.

Read The Federalist Papers by Madison, Hamilton and Jay.

All the talking points you need and when you write your letters or emails quote from The Federalist Papers.

Right!

I was referring to the desire of the UN and the recent G20 meeting of the leaders of the countries world wide, that met in Washington with President Bush and their long range planning for the distribution of finances world wide.

It has long been held that we are such a rich country that we give too little to the third world countries.

That ... as a reality is what is coming next. Soon.
