A male police officer in Merseyside is the first alleged BNP member to face consequences at his job after the far-Right party's full membership list was leaked online.

This is playing out well for the BNP in the UK.

It is a racist national socialist party, wholly unpleasant but legal. It also offers some solace for voters who feel (with much justification) that the major parties do not represent their interests.

Overall people are not happy that police can be disciplined (even dismissed) for belonging to a legal party and many shocked to find out that this is so.

The left/liberal agenda here is more worrying than the BNP (at least for now)

Many people in the UK are also amazed at how big the BNP membership is - it may well give them credibility.

er they are a fair legal political party why would anyone be amazed how big and how popular the BNP is.
