I have to agree with you. And anyway, if the electoral votes don’t go to Obama, does that mean they automatically go to McCain? Seems they would go to no one. So if neither one of them gets enough electoral votes, does that mean congress decides? And just what do you think they will decide....
The electors are free to vote for anyone. I doubt those chosen for Obama would vote for McCain. More likely, they would vote for a Democrat.
