This is a video that is both extremely funny as well as very sad. It shows how the perceptions of Barack Obama voters were shaped by the mainstream media. We have already seen the vast amount of misinformation displayed by Obama supporters by an interview with them on the streets of New York conducted by the Howard Stern Show and now the How Obama Got Elected website goes into even more detail about how the MSM shaped the information:
On November 4th, 2008 millions of Americans were shocked that a man of Barack Obama's limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances could be elected President of the United States. For many of these Americans, the explanation was rather simple... the news media, completely enamored with Obama, simply refused to do their job.
On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed extensively right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not.

PING!
Even more appalling: there have been anti-Sarah trolls on this very board, parroting precisely the same patently risible claim (!!!).
I work with Palin bashers. The election has been over for over 2 weeks and there still bashing her.
This video is not surprising. Welcome to the Age of Idiotocracy!!

Me fail english. Thats unpossible!!
Bump!
I didn’t see the video. I don’t have to.
Why they voted for Obama is all about MONEY.
Killing babies even not protecting them after they survived an abortion won’t stop them from COVETING YOUR MONEY. It’s class envy at its worst.
Thanks for posting.
That is a sample of the populace of our great nation being duped by the MSM.
I should ask the one sister that did vote for O the same questions.
Pathetic, simply pathetic.
On an average day, 15 of the 20 are hateful comments directed at conservatives. Virtually all of them contain and are based on lies. The paper still prints, on a daily basis, statements on Ms. Palin’s stupidity for not knowing Africa is a continent.
Of course, this tale has been thoroughly disproven by those in the room at the time. But hateful, mean spirited socialists never let facts get in their way, now do they?
There is a statement of an evaluation of intelligence:
DUMB AS A ROCK.
We now have a new assessment:
DUMB AS AN OBAMA VOTER
Yeah, my Mom is a Palin basher, also. I thought I had her convinced that McCain/Palin were the right choice but then just a few days before the election she started-up with the “Palin is an idiot” stuff. It was then that I knew “they” had gotten to her...
I would like to say I am shocked. But lets face it, a voter has to be completely uninformed to have voted for Obama.
I will bet you that was the first time most of those interviewed have every voted.
This is witness of the effectiveness of our public schools' indoctrination program of the last four+ decades.
What does it matter —these fools would have voted democrat anyway —that is if they even vote
I wonder what the educational background is of the group? Gotta love the NPR/PBS listener. What a joke!

The sad thing is that they don't know it. And even if the truth were to piss all over them, which it soon will do, they still wouldn't believe it. I had a conversation with a co-worker just this morning that was every bit as frightening as this video. The mass media seems to still have the power of authority over a lot of people.

Yeah. But I thought the NY Times reader took the cake! The problem Big Journalism presents to us is less its errors than its omissions. Errors you can complain about, and make a point. But - and this is the key point - the rules of journalism, such as "If it bleeds, it leads," actually filter out conservatism.
And those rules of journalism make perfect sense, and are perfectly justifiable from the POV of the interests of the newspaper or the broadcast journalist. From the POV of the public interest which they claim to represent, OTOH, not so much.
They were VERY well informed about everything negative about Palin and whatshisname.
