Howell: 'Most Washington Post Journalists Voted for Obama. I Did'
WaPo/Newsbusters ^ | November 16th | Brent Baker

Posted on 11/18/2008 3:23:07 AM PST by Halfmanhalfamazing

A week after Washington Post Ombudsman Deborah Howell agreed with readers who saw “a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama” in the paper's campaign coverage, Howell this Sunday admitted she voted for Obama and “bet” that so did “most” in the Post's newsroom:

I'll bet that most Post journalists voted for Obama. I did. There are centrists at The Post as well. But the conservatives I know here feel so outnumbered that they don't even want to be quoted by name in a memo.

The question should be how do they avoid sounding like a continuous camapaign commercial or will there be any customers left in a few years.

I’m firmly convinced they want to put themselves out of business.

Anyone watch ‘Boston Legal’ last night? I just happened upon it and good grief it was a Sarah, McCain, Bush bashing fest. They even called us McCain/Palin voters stupid, repeatedly.

When Boston Legal went political, I quit watching. If the ‘unfairness doctrine’ ever comes back, I will demand a truly entertaining right wing show about lawyers that seem to have the hormonal balance of 17 YOs and quick disconnect clothes.

that so did “most” in the Post's newsroom:

Well there is 51% type most and then there is 99% type most

I am guessing the 99%

The “Fairness Doctrine” would never be applied in any way that benefited conservatives.

The whole point of it is to censor conservatives.

I’m firmly convinced they want to put themselves out of business.

Like GM and Michigan. They want to freaking loose their means of making a living. But they want to take as many of the rest of us along with them.
