Better idea: Let’s surcharge vegetarians for making us prepare special menus.

Eating veggies shrinks the brain
MELBOURNE: Scientists have discovered that going veggie could be bad for your brain-with those on a meat-free diet six times more likely to suffer
brain shrinkage.
Vegans and vegetarians are the most likely to be deficient because the best sources of the vitamin are meat, particularly liver, milk and fish. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause anaemia and inflammation of the nervous system.

I worked with a woman who was a vegitarian a number of years ago. She was out sick a total of 35 times in three months. Was always getting a cold or some such other ailment.

Under the same logic, gays should pay more for health & life insurance, as the lifestyle is inherently more risky.

Does PETA have an official mascot? Let’s kidnap it and eat it, and put the menu on a billboard.

Make Meat Eaters Pay Bigger Premiums
Great idea.
But, aren't there also some medical problems associated with lack of meat in people's diets? Shouldn't those people have to pay higher premiums for not eating meat?
BTW, aren't people already paying higher premiums, sort of, by paying for the meat they eat? Meat can be or is more expensive than vegetables and fruits.

Just illustrates how government mandates are not intended to help people, but rather to control them.

Better idea: Lets surcharge vegetarians for making us prepare special menus. And because I find that cigar smokers generally have better dispositions and have to put up with crabby people who are not cigar smokers, I think there should be a special tax on people who do not smoke cigars. I propose that it be double the meat-eater's tax; and that the meat-eater tax be waived for cigar smokers.

PETA should stand for:
People
Eating
Tasty
Animals
If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made 'em outta
meat!

I think it’s hard for vegans to get high enough quality and variety and ENOUGH protein.
Good quality proteins are absolutely essential for the immune system, which is creating and diposing of cells and chemical messengers by the truckload.

I had a vegetarian boss at one time. He was perpetually sick and he finally got a cold that just wouldn’t go away even after he went to his naturopath at read the latest vegan diet book.
I finally got tired of his coughing, sneezing, and whining and told him to go home tonight and eat a steak.
He actually did and came in the next morning and told me he felt much better and had much more energy.
He looked much better and had more color in his face. He had a classic case of anemia.
He seemed much happier after that.

Not only that. Have you seen what the average vegan looks like? Pale....anorexic...sunken eyes....like death warmed over. Heroin addicts look like the picture of health compared to them.
