A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

We are all entitled to our own opinions. Unfortunately, the left also thinks they entitled to their own facts. This is the third time that GISS has been caught manipulating the data and making false claims that serve the global warming agenda.

I'm going to pose a question to you. I've actually answered this question before several times on FR. But to tell you the answer would just make you think that I'm defending the "BS Political Hoax". So what I'm going to ask you to do is to determine the answer yourself. Along the way, you can evaluate what is hoax and what is true accurate information. I hope you will be intellectually honest with yourself as you do this.

I should note the cool factor that you can see the effects of the La Nina that occurred this year in the posted data set. El Nino effects are also prominent. These are important details to note.
Take your time. The answer to this is not simple. There are multiple factors involved. When you're done answering the question, I'd be interested to read a short summary of your conclusions.

Even IF glubal tmeperatures have risen in 14 years, how does that preddict any kind of trend?
By the way, a lot of globull warming conspiracists are hopping off the bandwagon, and going towards a global cooling line of thought. It’s only a matter f time before that liar scumbag Dr. Hansen is laughed out of every “global climate conference”. The globull warmongers, just like liberals, have to lie to make their points.

I’ll tell you what. When we can get people like Hansen, gore et al. to stop being liars, and the AGW commies can actually get their date to work in harmony, and stop making this a purely political deal (as the facts just aren’t there) then maybe I’ll research unbiased sources.
I’ve done a good bit of research, and there’s no consensus, becausse there is no solid foundation of indisputable evidence.
It’s a friggin political hoax. That’s all. I appreciate yoru efforts, and admire how doggedly you stick to the wrong side of the hoax, though.
Global Warming is far more powerful than that. It is international political spam.
It's probably more a case of when the data backs up their preconceived notions, they don't look to closely. Still, shame on them...
