Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, AIP leaders sue in CA court to obtain Obama citizenship proof, stop Secretary of State from certifying Electors

Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, vice-presidential candidate Wiley S. Drake, and the Chairman of the American Independent Party, Markham Robinson, have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento seeking to bar Secretary of State Debra Bowen from certifying to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger the names of Electors, and from transmitting to each presidential Elector a Certificate of Election, until documentary proof is produced and verified showing that Senator Obama is a “natural born” citizen of the United States, and does not hold citizenship of Indonesia, Kenya or Great Britain.

In addition, they have asked that the court issue a peremptory writ barring Senator Obama’s California Electors from signing the Certificate of Vote until such documentary proof is produced and verified.

A short form is good enough for the State Department, it is good enough that nobody with a reputation to uphold be it McCain, Palin, Hillary, Rush, Hannity, etc. brought up the issue and, most importantly, it will be good enough for about 99.9% of America to accept that Obama is eligible to be president (whether we're happy about this or not).

The short form is certainly good enough to establish citizenship. It is not enough to establish "natural-born".

The Presidency is the only position that requires "natural born", so it's not correct to claim that a form "good enough" for a driver's license, passport, etc. is sufficient.

CITY, TOWN OR LOCATION OF BIRTH:
HONOLULU.

Is there a Honolulu, Kenya?

Give it up.

The factcheck.org site you linked to has some references at the bottom, here's one that points to honoluluadvertiser.com: http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20081101/NEWS05/811010345/1001/localnewsfront

At the bottom of that article it states: They point to the lack of an official state seal on the document, although Health Department officials say seals often are placed on the backs of birth certificates.

Bloggers and other skeptics also wonder why a large black rectangle appears next to the words "CERTIFICATE NO."

Here's the link to the fightthesmears.com site they refer to when describing the missing raised stamp and the blocked certificate number: http://www.fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate .

My question to you now is: Which copy is the forgery? The one from factcheck.org that shows the raised stamp or the one from fightthesmears.com that doesn't?

I think this will be dismissed like Berg’s , cause.
“An objection based upon the certificate can only be raised on the floor of the Senate when the electoral votes are being certified. No court in the land can hear this case and only a United States Senator can object.

Eagle,

I used to work for a company that, among other things, supplied custom forms for one of the largest industries in the USA. They produced thousands of forms that had to be set up correctly so that the date of birth (for instance) doesn't print in the "Location of Birth" field. In order to populate a blank field like "Date of Birth", you have to pull from a database or input it directly. In order for that COPY of COLB to be printed as it was, someone would have had to either:

1) Manually input 0bama's vault ORIGINAL data into a database and mapped the attributes of the DB to the blank fields of the stock form

or

2) Manually populate blank fields on a template (like a Word template) and then print it with a laser printer with the blank stock form in the tray.

I do not know if either of these is how COPIES of COLB's are made but I seriously doubt it.

Cheers

Yes. That's the same site National Review referenced when they implored people to let it go. Looks good to me and I'm guessing it's going to look good to the vast majority of America.

But it is an exercise in futility arguing with you people. The COLB could come out of the "Vault" tomorrow and you all will say it is a well executed forgery. Doesn't matter. You want so desperately to believe that Obama was born in Kenya (despite no evidence whatsoever) and is thus ineligible to serve. You live in a fantasyland where everything is just one giant conspiracy with everyone from Bush to Hillary to McCain to Rush Limbaugh himself working together to put the Kenyan Muslim Obama in the White House.

Guess what. We lost because we ran a lousy candidate who couldn't articulate his positions and was representing the party of the incumbency which for the last eight years has repeatedly ignored and outright defied their base. It isn't rocket science. It's as simple as that. Obama couldn't have lost this one. Now we need to drop this nonsense and rebuild.

You could have a video of the birth in front of the Honolulu Court House and some people still wouldn’t give up.

What would happen if the big O refused to swear to uphold the Constitution, would that disqualify him?
What if he swears to uphold and protect the Constitution with his hand on a Bible and then we find out he knowingly deceived about being qualified, is that perjury?
I say get to the truth and those who are trying are patriots and heroes.

I don’t think it would be Biden...it would be the next qualified candidate that got the most votes for President.

Well, yes the data is held in some sort of data structure.

That's the key to the issue to me. In 1961 there were no databases to input COLB information into. Did the Hawaii Department of Vital Statistics actually hire people to take all of the pre-database births and input them into a database? I don't know the answer to that but don't know why they would go to the trouble and expense. If they did go to the trouble and expense of doing that then I would not be nearly as suspicous.

Cheers

Not true, I just want to see something that hasn't been doctored and I want to hear someone state definitively that he was born in the United States, not some carefully crafted statement like "...the registrar of vital statistics personally inspected Obama's birth certificate and found it to be valid.". She did NOT state that he was born in Hawaii.

No, I want to see that the person that has been elected to be president of the United States is actually elgible for the position per the requirements of the Constitution of the United States.

Guess what? We're not arguing why we lost.

In addition to my earlier direct question to you that you didn't answer (which is the forgery, factcheck.org or stopthesmears.com), here are two more:

1) If he is a legitimate (no pun intended) citizen of the USA, why has he hired teams of lawyers to resist demands to provide that proof

2) why did he seal his COLB?
