Obama's New Domestic Youth Corps

Posted on 11/13/2008 7:53:05 AM PST by Candybar

Yes, I mentioned that Rahm Emanuel has proposed, in his book "The Plan", that young people, between the ages of 18 and 25, be enlisted for 3 months of civilian service. They would report for basic civil defense training in their state or community to learn what to do in the event of biochemical, neclear, or conventional attack.

On WMAL Radio, Washington, DC, this morning, I heard Chris Plante tell people about this book and about Emanuel's youth training. He played a radio snip of Obama saying that "this youth corps should be as strong and as well-financed as our military"!

My Fellow americans, what may this be the beginning of? Do you think Obama will govern from the center? Do you have any recommendations for the leader of Obama's Youth Corps?

Look out, my Fellow Americans, we may be in for a Dark and Cold Winter!

This post of yours is spinning the three, youth corps, national police force and Plante’s show.

The National Police force is seperate from the Youth Corp.

The National Police force will be as well trained, equiped and funded as the military.

VERY BAD MOJO!

The youth corp is to brain wash all those heads full of mush with even more marxism.

I listened to some of his show this morning and if he was blending the two he is IMHO wrong.

FWIW- I oppose both ideas. Even though it would be sooooooo funny to listen to the ittle turds that helped elect him whine about serving.

this is part of his deleted agenda on "service":

Barack Obama and Joe Biden's Plan for Universal Voluntary Public Service

“Your own story and the American story are not separate — they are shared. And they will both be enriched if we stand up together, and answer a new call to service to meet the challenges of our new century … I won't just ask for your vote as a candidate; I will ask for your service and your active citizenship when I am president of the United States. This will not be a call issued in one speech or program; this will be a cause of my presidency.” — Barack Obama, Speech in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, December 5, 2007

Just what we need, a bunch of air head youth of today having some kind of power over the public. Those who do remember history will make sure this backfires as fast as they try to set it up.

He should dis-own his son.

No, he should be proud of his son who signed up for duty and is following through on his vows. The assumption, of course, is that the father did something wrong and deserved to have his guns taken away. Put the story in a different assumption, such as we simply want the guns because it is a threat to a socialist government, then you probably get a different answer.

Joining a militia is a waste of energy as the Fed LEO’s like to infiltrate them & collect names. Tell them to study guerilla warfare & cell organization . Also do some research on cryptography & the setting up of safe houses, dead drops & the uses of propaganda.

Obama is already building  a cadre to lead his own "people’s organization" -- and he's got a ton of money -- more than $75 million.

Obama has, through his nonprofit group, "Public Allies," a pun on Alinsky's "people’s organizations,"
has been organizing and training a political cadre since 1993.  There are fifteen fully-staffed and populated chapters, operating under the watchful eye of Michelle Obama.

The Obama Campaign is also conducting, at the state level, a "national program for social change," called "Camp Obama," and there's no marshmallows at Camp Obama.  Here's their sign-up page -- you too can be a "Deputy Field Organizer."

Obama Campaign's website promises that "you'll get the kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago," and "Camp Obama is your chance to step up and become a leader in this movement."

Movement?  What movement?

Public Allies and Camp Obama are Alinsky training programs designed to build a core group of "community organizers" dedicated to "social change" in their communities.

Their charter will be to bring about "Change."  They'll do this through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation -- the tactics of Alinsky.

Obama is cloning thousands of baby Obamas -- a "people’s organization" -- and on our dime.

A "movement" -- dedicated to social change by getting people "pissed off" -- and there will be thousands of them.

If Obama should sit in the Oval Office, just what do you think he has planned for these guys?

And -- if Obama shouldn't sit in the Oval Office, just what do you think he has planned for these guys?

Remember this?

On July 2nd, 2008, Obama spoke in Colorado Springs and hit themes of national service, foreign policy, and national security.  In that vein, Obama proposed a rather extraordinary idea -- that the US should spend as much money on a civilian national security force as it does on the military. (video)

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

And what color shirts will they wear?

Lenin said this about socialism: "The goal of socialism is communism."

They are really upset over Obama. The day after the election they came over to the house and were wondering what could they do. One young man said he had a hard time saying the Pledge that morning because all he could think about was Obama was elected. They are still talking about it.

Putin is already doing this in Russia with the NASHI and the Pioneers. Obama is probably taking hints from him.

"Obama is probably taking hints from him."

Not so fast there. Russians always had a sense of nationalism. Given a strong leader like Putin, they are encouraged. Putin respects Bush as a strong leader and someone to do business with.

Putin has no respect Obama at all. I read here on FR that a day or two after the election, Putin told Obama:

"YOU are coming to US."

That says it all. Like training a dog to sit. Then Iran told Obama what to do, Israel told Obama to F-off, Poland slammed the phone down on Obama just yesterday. A few others also don't trust him as an ally or semi-ally.

The leaders of these countries have accomplishments. Their concerns matched mine. They can't afford to "give him a chance". Their national interest comes first.
