Catholic Church drops ACORN funding

The Roman Catholic Church has halted contributions to the community organizing group ACORN because of questionable voting incidents, a church official says.

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development cited, among other things, complaints over ACORN's registration drives in the Nov. 4 election, CNN reported.

"We simply had too many questions and concerns to permit further CCHD funding of ACORN groups," Roger Morin, the auxiliary bishop of New Orleans and campaign chairman, told the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops meeting in Baltimore, Md.

Has anyone from Acorn been arrested yet? Is voter fraud just okayh with law enforcement? If so, does that mean we can all vote as often as we want, if we find the loop holes, in the next election, because no one is arrested. I think you would get more time in jail or a bigger fine if you jaywalked, or dropped trash on main street.

What a bunch of pansies we all are, we don't stand up for what we believe in anymore.

A day late. Why investigate where the money is spent AFTER it supports illegal activities? Who is watching the Purse strings here? Would a closer look find the church is supporting abortion, homosexual marriage, or diminishing the church in the world?

The truth be know, I'll bet the money is going to other satanic, anti God, anti US, orginizations.

Church leadership has been significantly crippled since the 60's when the gays and Marxists began to infiltrate. It has long been time to cull the herd.

I would say, however, that the Church is trending conservative. Hopefully that means we'll see more decisive action.

Now that is good news! I bet Soros was one of the oil speculators who drove the price of oil sky high until he saw that it gave the Republicans a rallying cry, then all of a sudden oil drops to $60 bucks a barrel????
