When has a Republican taken things this this far...? Who are the ass kickers?

Here's 2: Newt Gingrich. Tom DeLay.

Hmmmmm. What. Do. They. Have. In. Common? Hmmmm?

Well stated. I too have been critical of President Bush in the past for many things, but I can’t really disagree with anything you said.

Won’t happen. Judicial notice given. Bush will still retain power to block subpoenas.

If obama starts this witch hunt it will take 4 years and nothing else will get done. He won’t accomplish the task of getting any dirt and then the bottom line is all else will fall by the way side. His 4 year term will be a waste for the rats and then they will lose all “appearance” of credibility.
(not that they have any true credibility to begin with)

I’ve suggested it before. We would need a massive number of people to go along with it all at the same time.

We already have our taxes taken out of our paycheck but one could raise the number of deductions so you would be bringing home more cash and end up owing.

Since the employer takes out social security there would be little you could do about that. But I have long believed that a massive tax revolt by the middle class would make a very effective version of the Boston Tea Party.

I commented on that earlier today. If 1/3 the population said “No More” and refused to pay taxes, the government would either do nothing or jail everyone. Either way it should serve to wake the slumebring majority.

THe question is “How do we begin?”

That was an issue that came up when Clinton left office, and as I recall, there were some who thought that a President cannot pardon himself. If there is an argument against it, you can be that the libs would make that argument, and the obmacized courts would accept it.

Bush was an idiot for not investigating Clinton.

I do seem to remember that. There was a case where an executive did pardon himself. Gonna see if I can find it. I certainly don’t see why he couldn’t though can understand the reasons for not wanting to. Let me see if I can find it.

rumor has it that in some dank dark coffee shop late one night pelosi was saying “When W leaves the white house it will be out the back and in cuffs” to which reid replied “I had those columns from convention installed in the oval office, wait till O’ see them, I’m sure to be invited to all the right dinner parties now” ...

Democrats are basically declaring war on the opposition while the opposition pussyfoots around the obvious disqualifying issue of Obama’s birth certificate. This is not your father’s GOP.

President Bush should have done the same, when he took office. Sad. These people are going to try and make public spectacles of Republicans, thinking they’ll do us in for years to come. They may be right. We’ll see!

You and me both Nina0113, but I’m concerned we’ll be saying I told you so for some very serious things. I don’t like that very much.
